UN-sponsored Human Rights Council proposed that the US Department of Education deny accreditation to colleges that teach creation and similar biblical beliefs.

Colleges in the U.S. are accredited by non-governmental agencies. Those colleges that deny science have their own accreditation agencies. So the whole idea is unworkable in the U.S. And it works. If you look at a college that teaches "alternative facts" to scientific knowledge, you will know that by the agency that accredited it.
