[__ Science __ ] Adam, Eve, and Evolution

Evolution cannot reconcile with that.
The X and Y chromosomes evolved from a pair of identical, non-sex-determining chromosomes (autosomes) around 300 million years ago. Initially, they were the same, but over time, the Y chromosome began to differentiate and shrink, losing many genes while the X chromosome remained largely intact.

In John 3:30, John the Baptist says, "He must increase, but I must decrease." This verse reflects John's humility as he acknowledges that his role was to prepare the way for Jesus, and now that Jesus' ministry was growing, John's influence would naturally fade.

If Eve came from Adam then we would expect Adam to decrease and women to increase. I do not see any contradictions. But I do appreciate the opportunity to look deeper into this. Science tells us about when and how they became male and female. God wants us to know what He has done and is currently doing.

Science is in a constant state of change as we learn more and more. My Biology book 50 years ago had a lot less information then the Biology books today. I just buy the cheap $5 text books that are outdated but still plenty enough current for me.

The point was that it says God breathed life into Adam. It did not mention that He then came down and breathed on Eve as well and every child she then had.
My point was that the Great Oxygen Event set the stage for the evolution of aerobic (oxygen-using) life forms, eventually leading to more complex multicellular organisms. This is why Noah had to build an ark to save all of the plants and animals. Noah saved the whole biodiverse ecology. There is a whole chapter in the Biology book about this. The biosphere is a vast collection of diverse ecosystems, each functioning like its own "Eden," rich with life and interconnected species. From rainforests to coral reefs, these ecosystems sustain biodiversity and play a crucial role in Earth's balance.

We are going beyond the High School Biology book and we are already having problems getting people to read that. My son had to read his book in two weeks so he does not remember much about it. He does remember that people wanted to fight and argue over a book that they did not seem to want to read. God wants us to know what He is doing and Science tells us what God wants us to know.

I encourage our young people to read BOTH the Bible and the Bio book. Far to often they do not want to read either book. Do people even read books anymore? My brother wrote a text book for medical students on downs syndrome. It took him three years of research and he did not really make any money.

No. God created the air and the big and little critters

No. Just land animals

Big deal. In other words the creation

Maybe give him a break and get Him something godly and inspiring to read

Only if they weed out the lies in biology such as you posted earlier about an event.

Hopefully it helped some with the disease

My biology teacher in high-school taught us that there was no god.
He was wrong.

A woman is a female human being homo sapien. The only human female kind to ever exist Eve was a homo sapien female created in an adult form who's number 1 priority was to be a helper to Adam

Be fruitful and multiply? Mission accomplished.
The primary purpose of Christian marriage is not procreation, it's avoiding sexual sin by having a partner of your own. At least that's what Paul taught.

What verse was that? It is interesting

Biblically, Genesis 1:9-13 describes the third day as when land emerged from the waters, and vegetation—plants, trees, and seeds—began to grow.

The Great Oxygenation Event (GOE) and the "breath of life" in Genesis both relate to the presence of oxygen and life, but they come from different perspectives—one scientific, the other theological.

  • GOE (Scientific Perspective): Around 2.4 billion years ago, Earth's atmosphere experienced a dramatic increase in oxygen due to cyanobacteria producing oxygen through photosynthesis. This event allowed for the development of oxygen-dependent life forms and shaped Earth's biological evolution.
  • Genesis 2:7 (Theological Perspective): The Bible describes God forming man from the dust and breathing into him the "breath of life," making him a living being. This passage is often interpreted as God's direct impartation of life and spirit to humanity.

  • Day 1: ~8 billion years
  • Day 2: ~4 billion years
  • Day 3: ~2 billion years
  • Day 4: ~1 billion years
  • Day 5: ~500 million years
  • Day 6: ~250 million years

The third day and the seventh day both represent the Kingdom Age.

In connection with the third day and the Kingdom Age, some interpretations suggest that the third day symbolizes renewal, resurrection, and divine transformation—just as Jesus rose on the third day. This could reflect a spiritual parallel to the breath of life, where God’s presence brings restoration, empowerment, and preparation for the fullness of His kingdom.

The breath of life appears in Genesis 2:7, where God creates the first human:

"Then the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

This passage signifies God's direct impartation of life, making Adam a living soul. The phrase "breath of life" is also mentioned in Genesis 7:22, referring to all creatures that perished in the flood.

At least that's what Paul taught.
Actually the main focus here are the Children. Paul tells us: "Otherwise your children would be unclean". Children from a failed marriage have a much higher failure rate. But you are trying to make a different point so I will not go into this more.

Nothing emerged. God separated them. Nothing began to grow until He created the plants.

Total balderdash. The breath of life that God breather Personally into Adam was not a gas!

Fantasy ages and a creation denying fantasy scenario. Exists only in la la land

Yes. Nothing to do with evolution, any more than making pottery is a result of a mudslide.

Utter foolishness with no possible proof or support. Total faith based belief

Your declaration that random verses must represent what you dictate means nothing. Sorry

I do not waste time pondering the silly doubts of some people that are opposing Jesus and creation and based on nothing
The breath of life appears in Genesis 2:7, where God creates the first human:

"Then the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."
It did not appear. God acted in a specific way and did it. Adam did not appear. He was formed. His life was not some random oxygen abetted happenstance
This passage signifies God's direct impartation of life, making Adam a living soul. The phrase "breath of life" is also mentioned in Genesis 7:22, referring to all creatures that perished in the flood.
Yes His breathing life into a man He had formed was a direct act of God. It is blasphemous and insulting to the spirit of the text to imply that evolutiondunnit

This is just a cut and paste from AI so you can take it up with Bill Gates.

You do know that people are guilty of what they accuse others of. Although in this case you are accusing AI. My experience is you can argue it out with the computer and AI will shift it's position enough to make you happy.

Why is he able to defend his ideas unlike you?

I never mentioned AI. Nor have you yet provided any actual arguments of any substance that might require arguing about

Any that you posted so far for starters. Such as the old age stuff
I do not know what you are talking about. I try to keep things short and if there is anything that interests you I can go into further detail about it.

According to a witness or observer, he was only one day old.
Adam had the breath of life. The evidence shows us that Adam had a mother and a father just like everyone else. Every word in Genesis is very important. The Hebrew phrase for "breath of life" in Genesis 2:7 is נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים (nishmat chayyim). This phrase refers to the divine breath that God breathed into Adam, making him a living being. The word נְשָׁמָה (neshamah) is often translated as "breath" or "spirit" and is distinct from רוּחַ (ruach), which is another Hebrew word for "spirit".
