yes, and there is a reason why. in part to know them more and also its good to change routes because of boredom. and well what if one calls out and no one else could do them? I asked to be put on read days, I wouldn't be reading much if it all this month. so im getting a lot of Aarons routes and travis is getting some of his as well.Didn't you just start a new route a couple of days ago?
Is it so common to switch routes often?
Ah, that makes sense, it is a good idea and there is a purpose in it all.yes, and there is a reason why. in part to know them more and also its good to change routes because of boredom. and well what if one calls out and no one else could do them? like hell in some parts. the darn riverside park and theatre and the northern parked called mcwilliam park come up whacky and drove me nuts. I was told it was an odd route with that section. I got all the reads. tomorrow's route is short they say. it has some tricks to it to make it short.Ah, that makes sense, it is a good idea and there is a purpose in it all.
How did it go today?
Did you have to walk most of the route today?like hell in some parts. the darn riverside park and theatre and the northern parked called mcwilliam park come up whacky and drove me nuts. yes, in sections. the park I mention was drivin. no way I would walk that out. over a mile wide in diameter.Did you have to walk most of the route today?
You should be in good shape!yes, in sections. the park I mention was drivin. no way I would walk that out. over a mile wide in diameter.
I aslo ran 3 miles last night then walked that as I thought my wife was lost. I picked a new walking/run route and suggested one of my favorite routes. royal palm blvd, I don't read that entire blvd.pl split. I do read most of it. old Spanish style homes from the late 20's there. You should be in good shape!
Hey, I run, too! I didn't realize you did. I have fun 1/2 marathons - am slow but I get it done. hahaI aslo ran 3 miles last night then walked that as I thought my wife was lost. I could probably do a half marathon but why am I going to pay for a run that will do what for me? stress my immune system to the point its easy to get sick.btw my boss does iron man competetions and he is 44.Hey, I run, too! I used to play football in high school, keeping up on the weight lifting is difficult after HS.
I have ran for a cause. but well I do respect my boss for his hobby. I have talked to him about training. I think he knows that I do have a nac for cardio. I told him when I joined the army I ran two miles under 14 minutes. that is almost attenable for me again. im the fasting walker in the group besides tom. he would out walk me if he was a meter reader again. He must be in great shape! It would be fun to do one of those, but I'd have to be in better shape. The best shape that I was ever in was during wrestling - you either get in shape or get killed. haha Seriously though, that is the best way to get into shape, crewing is a good way, too.
You pay for a good cause. They have fun runs - zombie runs where people shoot you with paint balls, or spray you with paint, or midnight runs - you should try one.
Not bad! 5ks are a lot of fun, they are short and sweet and then they feed you. lolView attachment 5791 I am in this image. the first male on the back column next to the man in blue. this was a fun run for a cause. it was only 5k it was done by us in this formation in under 27 minutes.
no, that is true. my brother and his wife run in this stuff. he actually indirectly years later was inspired to run by me and others. I was talking to him on thanksgiving and he was asking how to run faster and I said simply run more and longer. he said didn't you used to run and still run six miles? I told him I haven't ran that far since I was in the active army. I still can run that( I ran 4 miles a few weeks ago) just at a snails pace until I get used to running that far.Not bad! 5ks are a lot of fun, they are short and sweet and then they feed you. lol
No one is spraying you with anything either. No dodging paint balls.
A few years ago I asked another runner how I could run further and he said - headphones, then you can't hear yourself breath and it actually works well. I already had some, but thought it looked stupid, now I don't care. hahano, that is true. my brother and his wife run in this stuff. he actually indirectly years later was inspired to run by me and others. the farthest I have ever ran was 12 milesA few years ago I asked another runner how I could run further and he said - headphones, then you can't hear yourself breath and it actually works well. I already had some, but thought it looked stupid, now I don't care. haha
It doesn't take very long to build up endurance either, you just start going a little bit further everyday and before you know it, you're running an extra 1/2 mile. The most I've ran is 8 miles, but I only run a couple of miles now - not everyday either I try to lift weights more often.
I guess you and your brother could go do those together.
