New Year Resolutions

Quite interesting that almost everyone is talking about forgiving one another today and not carrying the old self into the new year on social media stuff. If-I-offended-you-please-forgive-and-if-you-offended-me-then-I-also-forgive kind of attitude everywhere. Perhaps this is good, as everything becomes new.

Classik too has forgiven you all, including Jason who's attacking my beloved Barclona FC. Hehehehe.

Question is, are we all, after saying all these, prepared to be good stewards or persons in 2016?

This year I would like to work hard and save enough to buy a decent boat.

Im getting old now and walking an hour over hills to get to spot x is becoming a mission and unmotivating, especially on boat I could be there in 5 mins.

And walking there is the easy part, only about 50lb of weight,

Try walking back with three 50lb kingfish in your backpack. Thats an hours walk over hills with 150lb of fish on your back.

I was contemplating more egregious emotionally blackmail posts on Facebook... You know hit "like" if you love Jesus but ignore if you serve Satan and kill kittens.

About maybe starting more viral memes about famous people giving away money for posting something stupid on Facebook.

And maybe ressurecting someone famous just to have them recently pass away...or have a "found person" become either runaway or kidnapped again.

IOW be just like everyone else on Facebook....

They are viruses... If you click or comment you get infected...hacked.

Do not feel guilty.

Those dummies who perpetuate these viruses usually don't know what they are doing.

Actually though in reality I am assessing new opportunities for FIG Electric this year after my son graduates high school. Been on a bit of a sabbatical. (I needed the rest desperately)

But this summer I am headed to the old Soviet Block country of Slovakia as an investigation. Have one domestic project in the works and possibly finishing the Brazilian project.

Where I find myself banging my head on brick walls to accomplish electrical work I find that somehow I have inspired others with my passion for Christ. One such gentleman from Brazil said as much recently... Said he missed my fire. he is a maintenance worker on barges that travel the Pantenal River. Tough, dirty work.

Ya never know...
The workers are going to be few in Slovakia for the English language camp. If you or anyone is interested in going to help these kids know English and Christ just let me know...I'll get you some information and training materials.

I feel i know I can't save the world... And lately not even my corner of it. But maybe just a few along the way.
