NIV Dramatised Bible on CD

I got this a few months ago. I drive about an hour to work and a little longer coming home so it's great to listen to while I'm driving (and much safer than reading and driving toooo 8-) )

I was a little leary of getting a dramatized version, but I'm really enjoying it! My 7 year old loves the voice of God and when we listened to Job, he was glued (and so was I). In April, were going to drive to Indiana, so between Odesy and the audio Bible, we should be all set!

Over all, I would recomend it to anyone. It's not like your studying, which is good in a way, and your getting the word of God verbatim from the NIV. (yeah, the KJV guys gonna jump on that... :sad )

So, anyone else have this and if so, what do you think?

I don't have it, but it sounds great! Maybe I should think of investing in something like that.

I hope you didn't read and drive too often...

I have it and really enjoy it.

I also have the Message Remix (Christian Scriptures, commonly called the New Testament which is quite disrespectful to Jews to call their Scriptures "old") on CD as well.

I think they have a KJV like that if I can remember right, I am getting old, honey bring me my, Geritol and my cane, and don't forget my teeth and my prosthetic leg and arm.

ROFL!! Hey Lucky, Yeah, they got the KJV fer ya old farts too, I think they recorded it in mono, so it kinda sounds like the old tube style AM radio announcer too

Cly,
I really enjoy it, but then, I spend a lot of time in my car too. If you have time to listen to it, it's great. Our kids grew up on Oddesey (it's a nightly thing when they go to bed) and I think we have every tape they put out, and now were collecting the cd's too. When I get a cd player for my son's room, it will be a natural move to the dramatised bible. I'll tell you, it really brings the OT to life.

Jake,
What exactly is that Message Remix? Never heard of it.
