No automatically saved drafts?

I tried to post, but found that my internet connection had dropped, which necessitated that I log back in, which apparently erased my pre-post composition. I tried to find an automatically saved draft, but I could not find one. Apparently, I will have to save my drafts, then edit, then re-save. I don't know if I will have time enough to re-compose it very soon, but I will have to try.

Sorry that this is not a Christian topic, but it is the best place I've found to post questions about website functionality. I did re-compose, though I lost some good phraseology, but I gained some further points. Now, on a subsequent post on someone else's thread, I had a firefox browser crash, which again wiped out a nearly finished post. Fortunately, the post was not as long this time. It looks like I will have to save to USP every paragraph or sooner. I guess that I should have known. As Martin Luther said, "The Devil hates goose quills". As I say, "The Devil hates keyboards even more".

The proper forum is Talk With the Staff / Report a site issue. I would suggest writing things out in Word first and then copy and paste on the site.

Right. I'm still learning. The problem with word processing is that it is not very easy to address quotes.
On the up side, it appears that the automatic draft function is now working, as I didn't loose the last post, after all. Thanks.

Drafts, like everyone else, must repent to be saved. They must confess Christ as their Lord and Savior and submit to baptism. :hysterical

In my example below, I randomly typed some junk. I then logged out of CFnet. When I logged back in, what I typed was still visible. That's as close to an automatically saved draft that I am aware of. Maybe someone else has a better answer.

At any rate, in the upper right corner of your post, next to the Preview button you can see what looks like a floppy disk symbol. This button allows you to save and delete drafts.

I get that as well. I started typing things out on my phone, but then decided to finish the reply later. So, I logged out and when I logged in on my laptop, everything was there that I had typed. But, I did not know that we could save drafts. I guess I just never paid attention to that disk. Good to know!
