I don't know if the article is accurate or not. The author cites his source which I did not check but the presumption is not that far fetched. I do know that there is not a separate gene pool in Israel known as the Jews. It has been proven that Arabs and Jews share the same DNA. This fact should make you sit up as you read your bible and contemplate the so called prophecies regarding the Jews. You have to ask yourself is the bible talking about a chosen race or a chosen political entity. In fact if you are a great believer in prophecy it is now impossible for prophecy to be carried out since the Jews and Arabs are in reality one and the same. If you want peace in the middle east start stressing this fact and let the world know it. They are not fighting against each other they are fighting amongst themselves. There is a difference. Who are Ishmael and Isaac? Yes, both were the sons of Abraham, but their mothers were different. Therefore thier DNA can't be the same...they may share many traits but that's about it. They developed into two different nations as well. There IS no fighting amongst themselves.

Who cares who Ishmael an Isaac are? After that the DNA mixed and mixed some more until now the genetic gene pool is so mixed as to be able to call the Jews and Arabs brothers. If you are looking to fulfill bible prophecy based on genetics it's not going to happen.

Huh? That is terrible reasoning. I wonder if I posted this in the evolution forum if all your fellow naturalists would agree with it. You cannot mix DNA enough times to get the same DNA as another race. That is ridiculous. Different mothers, different DNA, end of story.

They don't see the reality. They see belief. When you get down in the lab they are the same and there is very little difference. Thats the point they are not being taught they are the same and that they are not fighting against each other amongst themselves. DNA doesn't lie.

Whats terrible reasoning? Thats just plain fact. When your mother and father were married you got some genes from your father and some from your mother. Your kids got some from you some from your husband and some from your mother and father and some from your husbands father and mother etc etc etc. Their is no pure gene stock for Jews and the Jews share the same DNA with their Arab brothers. Over the years Jews have intermingled, moved on others have moved in . You may not like the implications of such a statement but the reasoning you use to justfy your beliefs in prophecy is no longer valid just like the reasons that evade peace in the middle east are no longer valid. Whats even more important is that prophecy can in reality no longer be looked at with the possiblity of being fulfilled for the reasons I have just outlined unless political realities are more important than genetics and that would make the idea of a creator as being real even less likely.[/quote:ad5f4]
