Not afraid to speak evil of dignities ?

Aaron and Miriam, were the first example of speaking wrongly about Gods servant. They assumed because God also spoke through them, that they were worthy enough to accuse Moses, the Lords faithful servant.

Moses ( being meek) did not reply to them.

God came directly to speak for His servant, and made clear to them, WHEREFORE WERE YOU NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK AGAINST HIS SERVANT MOSES ?

Numbers 12:2 And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.
3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

Numbers 12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

This is essential to know, because Psalms 140 testifies, an evil speaker shall not be established in the earth.

Follow this through now to the New Testament, and Jesus clarifies for all, how no man can lightly speak evil of Jesus, who has power of God to do miracles in the name of Christ.

The Jews had spoke evil of Christ, insisting He is a Samaritan ( who the Jews have no dealings with) and has a devil, but Jesus meekly replied how He honours the Father, and they do dishonour Him.

Jesus then in John 15, tells us to REMEMBER, if they have persecuted Him( speaking evil of Him) they will also persecute you ( the Lords Holy Apostles, who He was reminding.)

Psalm 140:11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

John 8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Also it is commandment of the Lord ( from the Apostle Paul) for us to speak evil of NO MAN.

Because these testimonies are fulfilled in the evil speakers.

Men shall be FALSE ACCUSERS, DESPISERS OF THOSE THAT ARE GOOD.

PRESUMPTUOUS, THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO SPEAK EVIL OF DIGNITIES.

FILTHY DREAMERS, WHO SPEAK EVIL OF DIGNITIES.

Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Peter 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Isaiah 53, testifies of everything the Messiah had to go through for us.

Jesus poured out His soul to death, and right before that, He was numbered with the transgressors. ( to bear the sin of many)

Peter chosen by Christ, is bold to die for Jesus, but Jesus makes Peter an example how it is by the Spirit of God we are saved, and not by man. So Peter is made to deny Christ three times.

Also Jesus clarifies the importance of buying two swords, and Jesus confirms it is enough, to fulfil the testimony in the scriptures, of Jesus being numbered with the transgressors( because by being numbered with the transgressors this is how Jesus bears the sin of many)

Peter ( being the old one ready to die for Jesus) cuts off an ear, and Jesus immediately confirms, ( to suffer this far) it was enough. ( it was enough they bought two swords for the purpose of being numbered with the transgressors.)

Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Luke 22:33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Luke 22:51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

Now Pilate questions Jesus, saying how Jesus is delivered to him, by His own people, the Jews. Jesus answers how if His Kingdom was from this world, His servants would fight, but NOW, His Kingdom is not from here. ( Jesus ended everything from here, after He fulfilled the scripture of Him being numbered with the transgressors.)

Then after Jesus is risen from the dead, Jesus has Peter to confess Him three times, how He loves Jesus more than all. Jesus instructs Peter to feed His sheep. ( feed them with the deep testimonies of the Lord.)

John 18:35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Remember the testimonies of God, for the end times now, show how many are false accusers, who are not afraid to speak evil of dignities( the same as they were not afraid to speak so of the Lords servant Moses.)

We know how the Jews had accused Jesus of being a Samaritan. Now we hear from a Samaritan, how normally the Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans, and Jesus replies how if she knew who Jesus was, ( God and not a Jew.) He came to give all living water.

John 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Cornelius a Gentile, is told his prayers are come for a memorial before God. God instructs him how he has to go to Peter to hear what to do.

Before Cornelius arrives, God opens Heaven to instruct Peter, what Go has cleansed, to not call common, or unclean.

Cornelius has a good report among the nation of the Jews, was warned by God to hear words from Peter.

Cornelius being confused, bows to Peter, Peter shows ( according to the vision God had just revealed to him) how he is a man the same as the Gentiles.

Peter answers, they know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God had showed him that he should not call any man common or unclean, and Peter went right away after this vision of the Lord without doubting.

Peter confirms now, in every nation he that fears God, and works righteousness,( as Cornelius was doing) is accepted with him.

As peter spoke to the Gentiles the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

They of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

Acts 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

Acts 10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

Acts 10:25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The circumcision still contended with Peter ( against the Lords vision) and found fault that Peter went in with the uncircumcised, but peter told them what the Lord had revealed to him, and how the Lord baptizes with the Holy Ghost, and how God had given the like gift to the Gentiles( as well as to the circumcised) and they of the circumcision held their peace and acknowledged how God had granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles.

Acts 11:1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Again the circumcision taught that the uncircumcision should be circumcised as them.

Also the conversion of the Gentiles was declared in Samaria to give joy to the brothers.

But certain of the Pharisees that believed, insisted it was necessary to circumcise. Peter rose up against them to tell them how that the Gentiles by his mouth should hear the Gospel and believe, and ow God put no difference between the Jews and Gentiles, purifying their hearts through faith. For the circumcision to stop tempting God by insisting the Gentiles should be circumcised( or keep the traditions of the fathers.) and that it is only through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, all are saved, Jew and Gentile.

James then continues, how the Lord visited the Gentiles to take a people after His own name, ( Christians) and to not trouble those of the Gentiles who are turned to God.

Then letters were sent to the Gentiles in Antioch, how certain went out from them who have troubled them with words, SUBVERTING their souls, saying, they must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom they gave no such commandment.

Acts 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

Acts 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Acts 15:14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Acts 15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.
24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Now in Galatians 2, the Apostle Paul continues this same description, of the subversion from the Jews.

The Greeks did not want to be circumcised.

As we just heard, letters were sent to Antioch, about this same matter to the believers.

Now Apostle Paul also clarifies the same position, how he withstood Peter at Antioch, because before he had gone in with the Gentiles, then withdrew when they of the circumcision had come to him.( they of the circumcision kept insisting the Gentiles had to be circumcised/subverting the Gentile believers souls.)

Paul clarifies how they do not live after the manner of the Jews, but after the Gentiles( upon whose name the Lord is/Christians first called at Antioch. Acts 11:26.) and clarifying how man is not justified as the Jews believed, by works of the law,but as the Gentiles were now chosen to believe, that we are justified by the faith of Jesus Christ.

Paul continues in Galatians 6, how they of the circumcision continued to desire the Gentiles to be circumcised, to glory in men, and not in God.

Paul clarifies how neither circumcision, nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creature is all. ( Christ, all, and in all) and as many as walk according to that rule, peace is on them.

Galatians 2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
