It's homecoming week here as well as a home game for our Broncos, meaning their in town. The school my kids go to isn't all that far from Boise, about 45 minutes away...

So, the kids had some extra special guests show up for their Homecoming Parade...a couple of the guys from the "Big Boys" team.

My son goes a little wild as the Bronco's car goes by and shouts out to "Hey, Hey! Come sign my head!" My son decided to have me shave his head because the kids at his school kept scrunching his hair. He had a decent sized 'fro, not a usual style in white bread land. He kept asking them not to scrunch it, but kids that age just don't respect personal space all that much...so he's a baldy right now.

Ayway, lo and behold, as he shouts out, Jamar Taylor jumps out of the car and autographs my son's head.

So now, my son is running around with Jamar Taylor's autograph on his head.

So cool...but he's swearing he's never going to wash it off.

And, he's acolyting this Sunday for church. It's a good thing our Pastor is such a BSU Bronco's fan!

That's exactly how we feel about our 'Skins. They break our hearts something fierce (most) of the time, but we stand by them, regardless!

Superbowl? We'll get there!

There's a spray that is a first aid one..."second skin" and it sprays a sealing layer down... you might try that and then there is some tatoo and birth mark cosmetic called dermablend that you could put on top, so it looks like skin??? (yes, all shades available)

Is it permanent marker? Try a shower cap... and ... and.... make sure he stands up straight and keeps a straight face??? :D remember, God has a sense of humor too :D

I felt so bad for my poor boy.

He went onto the game that night and came home sick. He said later that he had a sore throat and was cold before the game but didn't say anything because he thought we wouldn't let him go. So, he came home and crawled into bed...and had a fever, which broke and caused him to sweat and the autograph more or less rubbed off. He didn't even make it to church...both he and Steve are down with it. Poor Steve, he did the whole "dad" thing...chaperoning his daughter at her Homecoming Dance when he was feeling rotten. They both stayed in bed almost the entire day yesterday and took off from work and school today. They both are feeling better now though.

But still, what great memories.
