Now I'm confused

I'm not a Benny Hinn fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd be a little suspicious of web sites that are not registered with a DNS and has an actual name as opposed to just an IP address. All web sites have IP addresses of course, but the normal ones have a name assigned to it as well such as christianforums.net. My experience with such sites was nothing but trouble.

thanks Tim for your input, its just that a Church I started attending looks up to Benny Hinn as an anointed man and I was abit ... well I dont know what to say, I guess just pray for the spirit of discernment, God only knows his true motives

Katsa,
Don't let the many sway you, especially a congregation ... "church".
It's a narrow path and not the newest thing that's come this way. There was a lot of money made through "snake oil" that had no more in it but alcohol and empty promises.

Boy or Boy ... I guess I'll just go back to my presbyterian Church and just stay there, I must say I was quite dissapointed because I had joined a awesome Church. Question for you, If you attended a Church that was affiliated with Benny Hinn, what would you think? :o

I'd think that church supports Benny Hinn and his brand of snake oil. He's a showman, nothing more. And he's very good at what he does. If that's what that church wants to see/support that's their perogative but I would not cast my lot with them.

I wouldn't either, Potluck.

There are a lot of really vibrant churches that are Spirit filled and yet true to the Word of God, katsa. If the one you happen to be going to now is caught up with a lot of false teachings, then just continue to look further. It's disappointing and hard, I know. There is a church in our area that I would dearly love to join. The kids have friends there, the worship services are just exactly what my husband and I like, the people are the most wonderful people you can know. But, they are leaving the sound teaching of the Word, and are compromising on key issues of faith. Although we truly love the folks there, we cannot join them.

 And we'd really like to.

But, God has been faithful. Although the church we are going to now doesn't have the worship services that we would like, they still worship God in deed and in truth and the folks there are just as wonderful. We are finding a home with them, and are thankful for God's leading.

So, hang in there. I think most Christians wind up having to go through this process at some point or another.

Sometimes you are a bit too paranoid. ;-) It was simply a Yahoo cached page to this:

http://www.geocities.com/bennyhinnpages/benny_hinn.html

Original link says:

Below is a cache of http://www.geocities.com/bennyhinnpages/benny_hinn.html. It's a snapshot of the page taken as our search engine crawled the Web. We've highlighted the words: benny hinn man god
The web site itself may have changed. You can check the current page (without highlighting) or check for previous versions at the Internet Archive.

Personally, I'd flee into the mountains. 8-)

Thanks Guys, the truth will definitely set us free but meanwhile we pray for all people diverting the word of God, I think it's trully sad ... will the real man of God please stand up !!

That shouldn't be a problem, since He's not on the cross anymore. ;-)
