  • Focus on the Family

    Strengthening families through biblical principles.

Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Well, perhaps it was Balaam who said that, but whatever, it was incredible that hired to curse, for the life of him he had to bless: "No magic charms can work against them—just look what God has done for his people" (CEV). Sadly Balaam later thought that he could get away with tempting Israel to get itself under Yahweh's curse. There are things which others can't do to undo us, which we can do unto ourselves.

Did You know in Numbers 23:23 it says this:
King James Bible
Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

God said this!:)

It looks to me as if you are picking difficult verse out as a way of not responding to the gospel?

In the old testament you have the history of a people group who witnessed miracles, who experienced many blessings and the consequences of disobedience.
Do you accept this summary?

Then there is the new testament where several witness accounts record what Jesus did and how his message was spread.

Both testaments show how sinful humanity is, that they/we need a saviour and that Jesus is that saviour.

Your forum name implies that you know and accept this.

Do you?

Do you know what it means to follow only Jesus?
