Hey Ron is looking good up there in his custom suits and sports jackets.
There you goHey, one t-shirt I have right now looks almost exactly like that one. I think I'll wear it to church tomorrow.
As I was looking at some of the fashions from the 60's I did admire one thing. The dress was much more modest than today.Well, one does have to keep in mind the fashions of the 70s & 80s. Some of those fashions look downright nasty today.
Do you remember seeing male politicians & famous men wearing those 70s leisure suits???? Back then, it was the style. Today, one either wants to laugh or gag at those photos!
Not all of it, nope, not all. At least not in southern California where I was.As I was looking at some of the fashions from the 60's I did admire one thing. The dress was much more modest than today.
A friend of mine moved to California with her girls in the late 90's.They stayed there a couple of years because of her husbands job.She was frantic to get back to Washington. She said some of the stuff those girls were doing in junior high was scary. Not all of it, nope, not all. At least not in southern California where I was.
it wouldn't surprise me If I saw that here, Miami's south beach probably has things like that. Daytona and ft.liquordale as well, aka ft. Lauderdale.Wasn't much different in the 70's really. I remember Jr High field trips to the beach and seeing some of the girls in wet t-shirts with nothing underneath. Although I admit it's been a while since Ive been there, and the last time I didn't really notice what Jr High girls were wearing these days. But are they really worse than the wet t-shirts of the early 70s?
Yeah I do with the white belts and white shoes. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those today, I will get up out of the casket and take it off.Well, one does have to keep in mind the fashions of the 70s & 80s. Some of those fashions look downright nasty today.
