Obedience Motivated by Love and not Laws

If your obedience to Christ is motivated by law, your motivation is wrong. The Pharisees were motivated by law, Christians are not Pharisees. They are Spirit led children of God. The law will not keep you from sinning. The law will cause you to sin more, Romans 7:7-11. The law is not really the problem, the problem is you and your Adamic nature that is in opposition to God's law, Romans 3:10. This is why God made a New Covenant, the old one did not work, Hebrews 8:6-13.

It is not possible to have a loving relationship with someone that is telling you by law how you should live. This is why Jesus abolished the law for Christians by nailing it to his cross, Colossians 2:14. Under the New Covenant obedience to Christ is motivated by love not laws. Jesus wants to be your friend not your taskmaster. Laws, rules and religion are obsolete. Under the New Covenant God's people live by faith, Romans 1:17. They live by faith in Christ and his Gospel. Under the New Covenant we have been justified, sanctified and redeemed and are complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10. No laws, rules or religion needed.

A good son does not need laws, rules or religion. He would never do anything to disgrace his father because he loves his father. He knows what is required of him and lives accordingly. A rebellious son needs laws, rules and religion. This is why God gave the law at Mount Siani. The Jews were out of control. Because of the Gospel we are at peace with God, Romans 5:1.

A good father sets boundaries and rules. That is law.

Yes a child should follow them out of love but they are still laws that the child has to follow or he/she will be punished.

The New Covenant has laws just as much as the Old Covenant.

If you need boundaries and rules, it is because you are lawless and disobedient, 1 Timothy 1:9.

Laws, rules and religion works God's wrath, Romans 4:15.

Antinomianism is a falsehood. Christians are law keepers;
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Jesus Didn't need laws, rules or religion. He was 100% righteous. The only ones that need laws, rules and religion are the lawless and disobedient, 1 Timothy 1:9.

The issue is not whether I need them or not but that God has given them.
The law was given to reveal the righteousness of God and the sinfulness of man. It is also instrumental in bringing us to Christ so that we can be justified by faith, Galatians 3:24-25. God never intended for his people to live by laws, rules or religion. What kind of a relationship is that?

Jesus was the law giver.
Jesus was a law keeper, or we would not be redeemed. gal4
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

isa42:
21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Your first two sentences are correct. Then you post error again.

You have missed it completely.

All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did was for our justification and our salvation. Jesus didn't come into the world to show you the way, he is the way, John 14:6.
