The Christian champion Francis of Assissi once challenged the grand Mufti of Jerusalem to a test of who would die better...himself as a Christian or any champion of Islam his excellency could provide!

The ruler looked at Francis and declared that if he could find just ONE more Christian like him, he and his entire kingdom would become Christians.

Of course none could be found....and the Mufti knew this.

So the way we show that the Christian life is superior is the way in which we die! Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies...

It is a great cop-out for Christians to support the state of Israel and then say...I have done my part. It reminds me of the Christian neighbours who sneaking safely behind their window shades remarked at how awful it was that the Nazis would come collect the Jews in the night.

Where are the Christians???

Where is OUR persecution?

Why aren't Christians in the vanguard of the news bringing daily testimonies of the divine life of Jesus Christ?

You hear so much about the Jews and the Muslims....but the Christians are all in hiding or asleep.

Many modern believers love Jesus but not His message. They wish to remain safe...not give their lives to promote the faith. They are looking for a worldly peace and safety. But Jesus offers them fire and a sword. They refuse this while clinging to Jesus for their own salvation. Will Jesus not reject these?

Someone famous once said..."it is not that Christianity has failed, it is that it has not been tried yet!"

There is a global battle being waged between the 3 major faiths on the earth...Islam, Judaism, and Christianity.

The Muslims say...God is greater. But this actually means " Islam is greater".

Do Christians say the same?
Of course the means to prove this superiority is very different. Muslim extremists use terror to instill their brand of superiority...like the law of the jungle.

But by what means does a Christian show forth the superiority of his faith? Does he even think it superior?

Here is the actual quote by Chesterton

"The problem with Christianity is not that it has been tried & found wanting but that it has not been tried"

Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Joh 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Discipleship means those who follow the doctrines of Christ through Gods word and Servitude means to wait on or serve. It often denotes people who dedicate themselves voluntarily to the service of another. The servants of God are devoted to his service.
