Obscene language and acrimonious disputes outside of Hajj

What Muhammad allowed. What and when.

The Cow 2:197

For Hajj are the months well known. If any one undertakes that duty therein, Let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj. (Yusuf Ali)

Obviously, obscenity, wickedness and wrangling are allowed at other times during the year!

To be fair, let us check another translation.....

The Cow 2:197

Make the pilgrimage in the appointed months. He that intends to perform it in those months must abstain from sexual intercourse, obscene language, and acrimonious disputes while on pilgrimage. (N.J. Dawood)

Obviously, sexual intercourse, obscene language, and acrimonious disputes are encouraged as soon as you get back!

If I tell my children that they cannot have ice cream for a week, surely the opposite is true. i.e They CAN have ice cream AFTER that week!

Therefore, after the Hajj, Muslims CAN have sexual intercourse, can use obscene language and can have acrimonious disputes.

Anyone who has been around Muslims outside of Hajj knows that they do ALL of the above!!

No this is not true, it's forbidden in hajj or outside of Hajj

It's clear that these verse talking about hajj
There are some laws for hajj

These verses means, God will not accept hajj if you did these.
Not that means it's forbidden in hajj and not outside of Hajj

And have sexual intercourse means, with wife, also its forbidden in hajj
If you want more details I will give you later no time now.

You have not explained the contradiction of Muhammad's instructions. Let us go through it again...

OK. While on Hajj, you must abstain from the following:
  • (1) sexual intercourse
    (2) obscene language, and
    (3) acrimonious disputes

The conclusion is therefore that these activities are allowed AFTER Hajj!!

You know Gary100% its forbidden,
The punishment for adulteress is :
For single are 100 lashes in Islam law
And for married is stone to death.

So how can adulteress is not forbidden!!!!

Also Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said the real Muslim is who don’t offend or insult by his tongue and his hand the others Muslims

So it’s clear forbidden out of hajj

Let us assume that Muhammad meant that you could not have sexual intercouse with your wife while on Hajj. That is OK. When you are not on Hajj, you resume sexual intercourse.

But what about obscene language and acrimonious disputes?

Asimov, yes according Matthew 5:28.

Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse.

That is adultery. You can't commit adultery if you're not married. If you're not married, that's fornication.

That is the worlds definition. We use God's standard on this board.

gary yes When Muslims are not on Hajj, they resume sexual intercourse. But with wife only. Otherwise it will consider adulteress.

And regarding obscene language and acrimonious disputes?

It’s forbidden it’s from the major sins, (the biggest sins) that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told to leave it.
But the think is God almightily said to not commit this specially in hajj, because If God accept Hajj from Muslims he will back to his house without sins, so Allah will forgive him his sins so that’s why he mentioned that in that verses.

Here are some sites that talk about Hajj:

Thanks Muhsen.

I am not sure if you see the issue yet. Let us leave the "sexual intercourse" for a moment.

Muhammad says: He that intends to perform it in those months must abstain from sexual intercourse, obscene language, and acrimonious disputes while on pilgrimage.

If obscene language, and acrimonious disputes are ALWAYS a sin, why mention them while on pilgrimage?

:-? :-?

See in hajj pilgrimage, Muslims come to be submitted to God, they will leave the whole worldly life, leave the money, work, women (Sex means with wife) and any things concerning worldly life, and ask God for forgiveness and mercies and it does not make sense to commit any sins there like obscene language and acrimonious disputes Because if Muslims commit these sins on HAJJ, God will not accept hajj from him. because its sacred area

Allah said about the Sacred Area:
(...and whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong, him We shall cause to taste from a painful torment.) (22:25)

Note if God accept hajj from Muslims, they will back to house with forgiveness all their sins

It is recorded in the Two Sahihs that Abu Hurayrah narrated that Allah's Messenger said:
(Whoever performed Hajj to this (Sacred) House and did not commit Rafath or Fusuq, will return sinless, just as the day his mother gave birth to him.)

That’s why it’s mentioned in hajj

Also out of hajj Islam always calls to do Righteous deeds and to refrain the bad deeds and evil deeds.
There are many verses in Holy quran:

[alnahl 90]
Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition

[alankabut 7]
Those who believe and work righteous deeds, from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds.

Al kahf2]
(He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,

[alkahf 107]
As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise,
[taha 75]
But such as come to Him as Believers who have worked righteous deeds, for them are ranks exalted,

[alhajj 14]
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans

[annur 55]
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion, the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: `They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me.' If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.

[alisraa 32]
Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).
