I have an eye condition called amblyopia (or lazy eye), which means one eye doesn't function the way it's supposed to because my brain ignores it.
Most of us have some sort of defect or trait that deviates from what's normal, some just have worse ones than others.
Some defects have very little impact on people's lives, or are easily managed. Others cause more difficulty.
These defects exist because we live in an imperfect, fallen world. It's not God's perfect will, and it will be corrected one day when Jesus comes back.
