That's not hard to believe at all. From some British(I think) conservative Preacher decades ago, "I doubt if 5% of those who claim to be "Christian" in the usa are" , or something to that effect. While it might seem like an isolated statement, it rings true from a century of experiences and testimonies about, in, or, or from the usa.
