One of my favorite ministries

Some of his literature is so kooky that I doubt the sincerity of it.

Please use discretion.

Nothing quite says love like fear, I guess.

If you have to make converts by threatening people, then you are a pretty miserable Christian.

Hmm....how do the Muslims convert people when they invade a part of the world?

Fear, death, and/or heavy taxes.

People fear for many reasons.
Why did these tracts make you afraid?
Afraid of what?

Since neither of you are born again Christians, I'm neither offended nor surprised at your peas in a pod responses.

I am a true-blue convert to the Christian faith. What I am saying is that I am skeptical of the sincerity of Jack Chick. I think that a lot of his tracts make a mockery of Christianity. Of course there are some decent ones with grains of truth, but most are just plain zany, from conspiracy theories to holiday-hating.

Consequently, I think he makes a good income parodying extreme fundamentalist beliefs.

Hugo, do you abstain from every FORM of evil, as Jesus tells us?

We won't fit into the "world" if we do, but, we are supposed to be lights and salt, in this world of Christ rejecting, bible hating people.

What I was implying, when asking you if you serve 2 masters, was, your comment about "holiday-hating".

What does Jack Chick say about holidays, that you see as being hateful?
How do you get holiday hating, out of reading his tracts?

No answer, Stray Bullet?

Well, let's see, I'm not a Muslim.

They don't make me afraid. They are fear tactics, threatening people with hell if they don't give in to their wacky branch of Christianity.

God told us that we have a choice - either receive Christ or spend eternity in hell. If there is no consequence, why would one be saved?
