One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4

The above is how David felt in his days, and I would say it is also the way that we feel in our days.

To behold the beauty of the Lord.
To see Jesus face to face.
To spend some time with Him.
I long for the peace.

hello wondering, dirtfarmer here

We can behold the beauty that the Lord has made, just look at the beauty of nature in the changing of seasons.
It is possible to see Jesus in the face of little children
We can spend time with him in prayer.
He has given us peace that passes all understanding is salvation.

I know that you know all these things by your witness to others. Sometimes we need encouragement from others and when I begin to feel burdened, I compare how little I suffer compared to how he suffered on his way to the cross and on the cross. Then I realize that I am not home yet, but that I must sojourn a little while longer. Then I read about and think in my mind how wonderful it will be in his presence.

God bless,

Dirtfarmer,

All you say is so true.

Thanks for posting this. It'll help many of us.

Good morning young lady, great post. The moment before I was indwelt, I was lusting for the money I was going to receive for the gig and scoping out the single or more accurately, single looking women because I did not want to go home alone.

I left there. just, moments after the Holy Spirit to up residence without the check, without the money in the jar and without a woman. When I opened my KJV Bible, as I recall, it fell open to Isa, 53, the Old Testament Gospel. It struck me, right away that this single Chapter of Isaiah told the over all story of the Christ.

The next morning I walked outside and the area lived in was much more beautiful than it had ever been before and I have always loved Texas. But through Spirit Opened Eyes, everything changed.
