Hey yall, just thought I would share with you a project that I'm working on. Back about 10 years ago (actually 11 but who's counting) the church I was attending in Altus Oklahoma had a TV ministry. Not only were each of the Sunday morning and evening worship services on the local cable TV channel, but the services were aired over the radio as well.
Over a period of 3 years, I record just about every service to audio tape, that's approximately 300 sermons or more! They have been such a blessing to my spiritual walk over the past 11 years as I have marked up my Bible next to each scripture passage of which I have a sermon on. As I come across those scriptures, I frequently pull out the tape and listen to them again as I run across the topic of interest during a Bible study, or when our pastor may preach on a specific topic.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I am in the process of encoding all of these sermons into wma files. As I do, I'm posting them so others might benefit from them. So, if you ever need to listen to a good sermon on a specific scripture, take a peek to see if I have one online. Each file is aproxmately 3 to 4 mb so if your on dial up it might take a while, but if your on DSL/Cable they should load pretty fast. I've only got about 100 of the sermons on-line at present, it's going to take a while. However, if you ever need a message on a specific scripture just ask and I'll see if I got one for ya.
