Only One Way to Honor the Father in Christianity

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 5:22 is Jesus laying the standard of judgment over all believers which is in according to the Father's will on how we will be judged.

John 5:23 does not mention the Holy Spirit for why we should take heed about the Father's will in how we are to only honor Him by.

Although the Holy Spirit is God, the above scriptures is why there are no scriptures teaching the practice of worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Do we really read that verse in John 14:6 or do we gloss over it?

Jesus said the only way we can come to God the Father was by the only way provided and that is by the Son.

Consider the way sinners are in the world in how they seek after spirits in the occult and behind idols. How can God the Father call them to depart from those spirits and their practices unless there is only one way to come to Him and that is by the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Otherwise, how can sinners know they have departed from those spirits if the focus is on the Holy Spirit at any time in worship? How can churches know if the sinners have departed from those spirits if the church focus on the Holy Spirit as sinners do on spirits in the world?

Every believer that maintains that focus and spotlight in worship, prayer, and fellowship on honoring the Son, is honoring the Father.

One may be led to wonder by the Lord why Jesus is warning believers to strive ye to enter through the straight gate in the latter days to be ready or else be left behind.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

What is the iniquity for why these believers are left behind?

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

So can believers come to the Father by going to the Holy Spirit in worship? No. Because climbing up any other way is the work of iniquity.

John 14:John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
