This is a continuation of a conversation between ezra and myself in a different forum.
We were derailing it and I'd like to post the following:

Ezra, as promised I copied and pasted a statement regarding OSAS and how we don't have to do anything after salvation. I'd like to continue doing these because you said no one believes the following...and yet...here it is.
The poster will remain anonymous and the statement is not copyrighted in any way and it is no one from this site.

How much more wrong can anyone be??
It would be interesting to discuss the last paragraph....

Our works cannot save us,for our works is as filthy rags, and there is none that does good,no not one,and all are sinners and come short of the glory of God.

So no matter what we do we cannot ever do good enough to receive salvation.

In that position the only thing we can do to correct this position is to have faith, that is why we are saved by faith for that is all we can do,for our works cannot do it.

All we have to do is believe.

Paul said we are not saved by works, but by accepting Christ, which he was addressing Gentiles, and their false religions, that thought they could have favor with God by their religious ways, but Paul said you are not saved by those works but by confessing Christ.

Paul was speaking from a fleshy perspective, not saved by works, and James is speaking from a spiritual perspective, accepting Christ, and being led of the Spirit, justified by works and not faith alone.

If a person does confess Christ, they only have to love people for love is the fulfilling of the law, which is what James is saying, and that is why he said if you do not feed someone when you can, then how do you have faith, and any work they would do apart from that, loving people, like if they go by Old Testament physical ordinances,or do something that another religion would do has no bearing on their salvation, but a waste of time.

Paul, not saved by works,James, but led of the Spirit loving people to have faith active in our life.

these are half truths and some not truths at all. and i hope in the heat of the moment in posting i never posted any of this.... i do get a head of myself in posting and fail to prof read before posting.. if i said any of the above i stand corrected ..None of this is Biblical i am well aware of what the osas eternal security messages are. they do say it is not a license to sin and its not. but yet if one reverts back to the old sinful life style they go to heaven but no rewards... i do not agree with that. this is why i say there is a good chance never saved.. see i am not the judge for salvation who is who is not . i will discuss this with you and you only
Do Works Count
not in salvation works follows salvation works water baptism never saved anyone :amen

I'd like to continue doing these because you said no one believes the following...and yet...here it is.

I agree with you, works follow salvation.

When we are born again and receive the new nature that is empowered by the Spirit, we “naturally” want to express the love of God within towards others.

No one can ever do enough works to earn salvation, for it is by God’s mercy and grace, through faith we are saved; born again, regenerated.

And yet they do!
I wanted you to see some of the stuff I read. There's much more.

All some understand is that once they're saved, they never can lose that salvation - no matter what.

This is wrong. We are eternally secure IN CHRIST...but it's not taught correctly, so we have persons that do not follow the teachings of Jesus and that may be in peril.

I do think this is a very important subject.

Oh. And I do understand how You feel about it....but not everyone does.

well the no matter what is a yes ad no only problem with that is .it becomes a way of reverting back to sinful life style saying it may be ok but i still go to heaven ..there are many things on the ETS i ponder, but what some fail to realize is one can grow cold spiritually unbalanced sitting on church. while one may not be doing the pleasures of sin for season . all this is gradual process and does not happen over night , much like addiction it is acquired
