Oscars: I get a bit tired of all the coverage

Who too gets a bit tired of all the Oscar coverage in the media?

Year after year.

It's as if Hollywood and the media are self-absorbed.

Who played in what. Who is dating whom. Who wore what. The predictable running commentaries on necklines. (Who cares?)

Aye, I agree. It's so such a shallow business.
Our own lives are way more exciting and profound than any movie.

Farouk, just turn off the TV and don't click any links related to the Oscars. Wait it out. Tomorrow it will be yesterday's news.

sickening. it reminds me of the sad state of greed that runs and ruining the western nations. imagine if all those stars were to live simple and really care for the poor. instead most of them want to push for socialized medicine and taxing all but themselves.
