I believe disciples are made in Biblical community. This is why I am a Small Groups Pastor.

This is also why I created SmallGroupChurches.com. It's a resource for Small Group Leaders, Pastors and those aspiring to fulfill Jesus' command to "Go and make disciples..."

It's a fairly new site with videos, blog articles as well as a Forum. We currently have a small growing forum community of leaders, pastors and authors.

My dream is for the SGC Forum to be one of the most valuable sources on the web of info, help and encouragement for those involved in Small Group ministry.

While I can't get myself to register to your forum at this point I've been looking around the forum a bit and it seems there is a lot of fodder for reading and learning. I'm part of a church cell group and I love hosting and leading the meetings. I'm dreaming of starting a cell group for singles because it's an underated field of ministry and I'm single myself. I'm also part of a "secular" small group (a self help group for people struggling with certain sorts of addiction) which doesn't totally fit into the church context but basically follows similar rules of communication and group cohesion. So I can benefit a lot from the resources you provide on your website.

It's good to see that others also recognise the need for singles groups and ministries.

What's holding me back from registering is that I probably wouldn't post much. At this point I'd visit the forum mostly to read all the topics that already exist. If I were the leader of my cell group or actively working on making the dream of a singles group come true things would be a lot different and I'd have questions to ask and testimonies to share, but until that time comes I'd only be a forum lurker. And thus registering seems like it wouldn't be usefull for either side.
