in this parable Bishop John was travelling on a Christian passport when he died and found himself in a small all white marble room in a large all white building - the room resembled a court room with seats for judge and jury and witnesses and recording and playback devices and dvd and video and audio tapes on the shelves alongside box files and other documents - whilst pondering that all his life had probably been recorded, including what he had done and also what he had failed to do, a loud voice boomed out "how do you plead Bishop John" - without a moment's hesitation, Bishop John replied "guilty my Lord" - again the voice boomed out "now just you listen to me and know that I cannot be wrong when I say not guilty - but, but, but how can you possibly say that my Lord stammered Bishop John - I told you and you should and must accept that I cannot be wrong so tell Me "do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour and the son of God and that the very son of God died for the forgiveness of sins" - of course, of course as a Christian and a Bishop I believe this and have always simply believed it since I first simply simply believed it as a child" stammered Bishop John - again the voice boomed "not guilty and know I cannot be wrong - Bishop John rejoiced and was glad and gave thanks and praise to his Saviour and ours but only really after his death when he really heard and understood the original and really really good news/gospel - let us give thanks and praise and rejoice and be glad while we live - twinc
