I thought the topic would be interesting reading but I was turned off by the preliminary “worship” of the author in large bold font, not to mention the sales promotion. If the goal of the author is to first and foremost insure we know about him so we can admire (worship) him first, that already says enough.

I think there’s something to be said for the middle ages artisans who refused to put their name on their pieces lest they take away from the worship of God. Modern authors make sure you know THEY wrote it and some mention several times that they’ve published books that are on sale now. They have their reward.
