I am hopeful that it is more than a tithe... but when I look around me that is all I reasonably consider as true to Jesus.

There are almost 8 billion people on earth, over 2 billion claim to be Christian.

So if we round off the numbers, 25% of the earth believe they are heaven bound, roughly.

I think it's safe to say that all who claim to be saved are not saved.

So I see the percentage of those entering heaven to be very, very low!

Jesus said, "Few there be that find it" Matthew 7:14. In the light of that I would say about 10%.

Actually, I believe when you throw in all who have lived and will live on this earth from the time of Adam until the Kingdom Age, less than 5% will make it.

That could be a few. What most have found is religion. This is why the way that leads to destruction is broad, Matthew 7:13.

For those able to receive visions from God, the Spirit has actually been saying that the numbers are currently around 2.5%, or at least that's what they were in the 80s. They may be even worse now, given that things have not improved IMO since then but have only spiritually deteriorated even more.

From Harold Pittman's third heaven account:

Instead of allowing me to enter, the angel stationed me before the gates, slightly to one side. He instructed me to stay there and watch as the saints were permitted to enter into Heaven. As the saints were allowed into Heaven, I noticed a strange thing. They were permitted to enter only one at a time. No two were permitted to enter those gates at the same time… [but] I missed the whole point of what I saw. The point was so important that the Holy Spirit told me Himself. I watched the fifty saints enter Heaven but the point I missed was the time frame involved. It was explained to me that at the same time those fifty saints died on earth, 1,950 other humans also died or only 50 out of 2,000 made it into Heaven. That other 1,950 were not there. Where were they? That was only 2 1/2 percent going to Heaven! Ninety seven point five percent did not make it! Is that representative of the entire world today? If so, ninety seven and one-half percent of the population of this world is not ready to meet God. (Placebo, P.29-30)

If you include the "age of accountability" possibility, however (which I know you didn't), the news gets much better. All the aborted babies Satan has been murdering are going straight back to the God who made them, so Heaven will most certainly not be underpopulated. And as for those who willingly chose Him in this life and persevered in Faith despite all the hardships and adversities they faced, they will be worthy of reward for it in eternity.

Up to the 1800s 40% of humanity didn't live to the 'age of accountability'

https://ourworldindata.org/child-mortality
From 2010-2014, an estimated 25% of global pregnancies (including spontaneous miscarriages) ended in abortion.

The 6 million-plus pregnancies in 1996 in the U.S. resulted in 3.9 million births, 1.3 million induced abortions, and almost a million fetal deaths. This means that 62 percent of pregnancies ended in a live birth, 22 percent ended in abortion, and 16 percent ended in a miscarriage or stillbirth. Another source said that abortions are down to 13% while miscarriages are at 20% for a total of 33%.

Summary ... if the theory of the 'age of accountability' is true one might guess-i-mate that 95% of those in heaven got in due to the 'age of accountability' hypothesis.

This is by no means a way to know but I considered it in my "guess" of about 1/3.
In the whole land,” declares the LORD, “two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it.

Despite Gods good will towards man and the good news of the gospel message it's not a good ratio. It seems the desires in the hearts of many allow them to be ensnared with other things. Where a person's treasure is there your heart is also.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

This is a trustworthy saying. Those who belong to God hear what God says.

We don't know, but in Matthew 7 when Jesus talks about the narrow and wide gate, we can most definetly assume it's under 50%. And since the world population is 8 billion and growing even 1% is about 10 million, but still I think it's very very low.
