Here are some pictures I took of an old asylum here in town. They are renovating the entire building for mixed purposes. The images shown here are of the side that has not yet begun renovation. The first is the courtyard fence behind the former women's wards portion of the building.

These are not a special effects. It was just a simple relfection from the window with my hand shading half of the picture area and taken with no flash. You can see my full hand in the second image.

Do you think traditional photography skills aren't appreciated today, with the advent of things like photoshop?
