Pig Pen world

Pig pen world

How do we laugh and point fingers at someone playing in the pig pen of sin, do we not see the slime dripping from our own fingers as we mock them? Do we not see that we are waist deep in sin too? The muck we stand in might not be the same as the muck they frolic in, but we are all soiled by it. We stomp and thrash about watching those around us sin, but do not notice what we splash in.
We are not above the muck, we wade through it on a daily basis, we ask god to clean us as much as possible while existing in this sty, and we can try to point out to others how nasty the sin is, but we are all living in the pen, and there is no clean place. No place better than any other, no sin worse than any other. Christians are not better than others; we just have hope of being clean someday. That we will be pulled from the muck, and made clean, completely clean, with no stain or dirt left on us. Most do not see past the slime in front of them; do not know there is a place without soil. Our job is to point out there is a place without sin, without slime, without hate, and push them towards the goal.

OK,but there are some sins worse than others. Any person who mocks or makes fun of someone else who is in a transgression is certainly unwise, however there is danger in the attitude that we all sin so lets just ignor it, that is not scriptural. In this life we cannot get away from our flesh nature, so no one should look down their nose at someone who has given in to the flesh nature, on the other hand we need to call sin, sin, in ourselves and in others.
