Pizza's Odd Problem

Ok, not REALLY a problem. See, I have all these airline miles and no place to go. After seeing my family next week AND then at Christmas time, I will still have a lot of miles.

I don't really have money to spend on another vacation - can anyone think of a place I can go that won't cost me a lot of money when I get there? I'm thinking of zipping away the week of New Year's (after seeing my kids in Michigan for Christmas).

Just don't know where to go. Someone wanna tell me where to go?

See, THIS is the kind of thread that belongs in the lounge...

This would be Really inexpensive, Go to Florida, a day/night with Jason, one with WillieT, one with Jethro, and one with Rollo. Actually you'd be almost home from there. Warm, too.

I wish now I had written down the name of the charity.........

One of the medical charitable groups recently ran some commercials that included mention of accepting airline miles to help families to bring sick children to their hospitals for treatments.

When I have time, I'll search online to see if I can find it.........

You know I'll bet my daughter has a bunch built up too. Children's hospitals are her favorite charity.

There may be a direct flight to my town.it's only from Newark though.if you want a low key rest day ,we have places, the Disney resort of vero.look it up.that isn't out of the way for me,and Willie is but a few hours west, plus in Orlando you have friends with the crossfire.

Warm?the highs are mid 80s
Right now at 6:30 pm it is 20 degrees and it has warmed up the last couple of days. The other morning it was 9 degrees.
Every winter I wonder why I ever moved here, I love warm, but then I look at the mountains and sigh. Ocean, mountains? Ocean, mountains?

Florida is flat.much of the homes I have posted unless otherwise stated aren't in Florida's natural unmolested environment as it was when they were constructed. Swamps,Cyprus trees, canibalistic indians, the lagoon, gators, sharks, bears, panthers, bobcats are all what was over 100 years ago

When my oldest was living in Ocala they used to go spotting gators sometimes. Then they had a cotton mouth living in a drain pipe. I can do without those two.

In Georgia, and as pets of snake handlers,in zoos, seldom in the wild. They don't wander in your yards ,unless there's a pond.which is rare.mist snakes seen aren't venomous.I see mostly ring snakes, black racers, king snakes

The off topic discussion here is revolting and disappointing.

You people let me down so often here. I've made up my mind to donate half my miles and use the other half to go to Alaska next summer and watch the sun go around the sky.
