Playoff run

Heading down the final stretch, the playoff picture starts to come into focus.

AFC

Chiefs- look like they have the West under wraps but they look tired and vulnerable. This is not the same team everyone feared earlier in the season.

Titans- their season hinges on the health of McNair. One of the best QB's in the NFL, he somehow gets it done. I think Eddie George needs to run the ball more/better if they are going deep into the playoffs.

Patriots- a mystery as to how they keep winning. Injuries plague their receivers and they have a inconsistent running game. They have a solid D and Brady is one of the best, and Belicheck is a master with gameplanning.

Bengals- they may take the division based solely on the fact that everyone else is playing worse than they are. They definitely are an improved team, and if they make the playoffs they could be a dangerous team to play. The Ravens need Anthony Wright to play well at QB to make any kind of challenge for the division title. Winner takes all in the North division as its the worst in football, and my Browns are apart of it but are too inconsistent to make a run at it.

Colts- have beaten the Titans once already and could win the division. They are a much better team than last season but can they win a playoff game? I think they are going to get the first Wildcard spot, but I don't think they are as good as the Titans (with a healthy Steve McNair)

Broncos- are a better team with Plummer at QB but may be too far back to win the division over the Chiefs. I think they are the front runners for the last wildcard.

Dolphins- despite having a game lead over the Broncos for the last Wildcard, they are known for their late season collapses and I'm not convinced this season will be any different.

NFC

Eagles- starting to play like they are the best in the NFC. Two weeks away from a showdown with Dallas for drivers seat in the division. They are a better team all around than the Cowboys and they'll have the homefield edge to try and prove it.

Vikings are a slightly better team than the Packers but are not the team they were earlier in the year. I still think they win the division.

Panthers have all but won their division. Solid defense may makeup for QB inexperience. In an evenly matched NFC, they are a team that can hold their own. They need a homefield edge to go deep in the playoffs.

Rams- struggling lately but I think will still beat out the Seahawks for the division title.

Cowboys are a solid defensive team but lack of offense may hurt them come playoff time. But a Parcells coached team is always a tough team to beat. I think they will be a Wildcard team that may be a dangerous team come playoff time. They still could win the division but I'm not sure they are that good yet.

Seahawks are frontrunners for a Wildcard spot, thats if they can't beat out the Rams in the West.

Packers are waiting if anyone slips and they could still overtake the Vikings for the division. If the Seahawks struggle they can take their Wildcard spot.

Saints and the 49ers are falling behind and the NFC is tough enough as it is. I don't think either team will make it.
