To talk of the fabric is to miss her gown,
To examine a jewel is to miss her crown.
To copy the steps is to miss her dance,
To stare at the map is to miss her advance,
She shows us her colours by framing our vision,
And puts the music into sense, logic and wisdom.
The beauty of clarity is the kiss that she leaves us,
But if we miss her then any ol’ fool can deceive us.
