Passion Benefits

He Shall Prolong His Days
Isaiah 53:7-12
He was oppressed and afflicted,
Like a lamb led to its slaughter;
Silence in being convicted,
Being treated as a squatter.
The judgment through His oppression,
He was being taken away;
And stricken for the transgression,
Of a people that went astray.
They made His grave with the evil,
The wicked at the time of death;
When He confronted the devil,
After breathing of His last breath.
Yet it was the will of the Lord,
To crush for putting Him in grief;
An offer of guilt not ignored,
Shall prosper Him in His belief.
Out of the anguish of His soul,
By His knowledge and satisfied;
Being righteously in control,
When He was being crucified.
He shall bear their iniquities,
Justify many as righteous;
For cleansing their impurities,
As a ransom for their purchase.
He shall divide spoil from strong,
Out of death that His soul had poured;
The transgressors who have done wrong,
That have confessed unto the Lord.
