We have a Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn popper. It tastes better than microwave popcorn usually does and I think it may be healthier, because you can use less oil or none if you want. And you can use canola oil instead of that hyrogenated stuff.
 
Stovetop! Not only is it cheaper (which with everything going up in price, this is a good thing to look for), I think it tastes better. Fresh and salty!

Now, as a college student, it better be microwavable. no stove...
 
I love the kettle style that they sell at zoo. I keep wondering if I can do that in my dutch oven in my fire place.
