Heb 4:16 also advises us to come boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
By your question I also am not sure if you're asking how to receive the
Holy Spirit since you believed.

Act 2:37-38 (NKJV) Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
There's the scriptural answer to your question.
Repent
Be baptized
Receive the gift of the Spirit. (That's being infused with His presence.)
