I have not been in a good frame of mind for quite a while. I have been stressed, depressed, and negative towards others. Christ does not want me in this situation, he does his part and I need to do mine, how can Christ help me if I wont help myself.

I have had a long talk with my mother and she is going to help me do up a plan for a healthy lifestyle change to get out of this negative hole I am stuck in because she worries sometimes.

If you could pray for me that would be great. Thanks.

Psa 119:121 AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
Psa 119:122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
Psa 119:123 Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Psa 119:124 Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
Psa 119:125 I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Psa 119:126 It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Psa 119:127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
Psa 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
Psa 119:129 PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
Psa 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

When nothings positive in life you look at everything negative in life. I chuff ciggys like chimney, all my teeth are fallimg out, I get drunk and gamble because im just over it.

I need a healthy lifestyle. Im just frittering myself away blaming the worlds problems for my own and saying stupid things, being someone im not.

I repent. Its time for positive change.

Who am I to joke thinking im a Christian and all I have done is dishonor my parents, dishonor Christ, dishonor the Church, dishonor members on this forum, dishonor everyone. My light has really been darkness.

All I have done is live violating the commandments.

I am serious about positive change and have come to my senses.

We each have moments during our Christian walks as to whether we're truly living up to what it really means to be a Christian. We're not perfect........and sometimes we each can feel as far from perfect that could be possible.

To make a positive change, we have to take it step by step, five minute segments initials until we're comfortable to extend the segments to 10 minutes, etc.

It's a bit like learning how to reading. We didn't start out by being able to read & understand words like "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". Instead, we began with simple words, simple steps to learning.

So do yourself a favor and quit beating yourself up. You're a human who has decided to change your life for the positive. And you're not alone in the process: our Lord loves you and is with you every step of the way!

Dear Brother kiwidan, being dissatisfied with your lifestyle is evidence of your relationship with our Savior. As the result of Jesus’ ongoing work in your life the feelings you’re experiencing is the natural result of spiritual growth.

If you want to know the example notice 1 Cor 11:1, and then read the battle the Apostle Paul fought in Rom 7:5-25.
In Rom 7:17 Paul said “Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”

And Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Does this sound like you?
But taking all this into consideration, in Rom 8:1 Paul says “There is THEREFORE now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

Now is there reason to grow in the will of God? Yes, and again it is to find your place in the judgment of the Church in its seven conditions in Revelation Chapters Two & Three we spoke of in another thread.
1 Cor 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Cor 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. God is not about to be done with you and me yet. :)
