Please keep me and my family in your prayers. There is a very real possibility I can and may loose my job the first week of January.

I understand God will use me wherever I am, and I'm thankful for our financial situation. For the most part we have lived below our means and have very little debt. I was a late starter, so I've been doubling down for retirement. Loosing my job would hurt us with those goals and we would have to make some financial adjustments.

Not fun.... lots of stress and the uncertainty is the worst. We are clamping down on every dollar in preparation for the storm. It will be a meek Christmas, but the family understands.

If we have to go through this, we will make the proper adjustments. It isnt the first time I have had to adjust or abandon a dream. It's just the world we live in.

Of course I will keep you guys in prayer. :) I hope and pray that everything works out for you. Crossing my fingers tightly! :crossed

I hope things work out for you. I'm in a tight situuation at the moment. All my work is weather dependent and the last 3 weeks weather has been a complete joke so i been broke as a joke. I got enough hours just to cover my rent and eat the basics and that's all I need so no problem.

The one thing I'm lucky is I don't have any debt so I can live week by week with no worrys. No debt but also no savings. But it's good alot of the time as good weather means a good weeks wage. Can put a little aside for the crooked weeks. But I just started this new job a few weeks ago so not happening yet. Lol. I'm on crumbs at the moment.

I think you are going to survive the cuts...I have no real knowledge about it but...I just think so.

I'd like to think the same way and I hope your right , but unfortunately, it's going to come down to a lottery... The only ones who feel secure are the college new hires that have 3 or 4 years with the company.
