Post your top 10 Beliefs about this world, they can be anything, this is not a debate i am just curious :P

1. 9/11 (the whole thing) was an inside job.
2. Fluoride is pure poison and does not help your teeth at all.
3. AIDS was a manufactured disease given first to black people in Africa to thin out population.
4. Cancer has been cured but the cure has been with held.
5. The Literal Reading of the Bible.
6. These are the last days.
7. There is no other life outside of earth.
8. Global Warming is not all its cracked up to be.
9. the IRAQ war is over nothing but oil.
10. There is plenty of oil left.

I got another 200,lol but these are pretty much tops.
 
1. The Bible is the true word of GOD and is to be taken literally
2. Jesus IS GOD

4. The new world order is real and in power.
5. We are in the last days
6. The rapture of the church is real
7. The Anti-Christ is alive NOW (I don't know who he is or how old he is)
8. We can run cars from fuel made of garbage.
9. Ron Paul is the only good choice for President
10. Gorge W. Bush should be tried for war crimes

Like my buddy Johnmuise I could list sooooooo much more. Love this thread John lets hope it doesn't get ugly.

Ten Beliefs(not necessarily in order of importance):

1. Primarily, we are saved from sin, not from hell.

2. The highest moral charactersistic is love. Love must sometimes be tough and hurtful in order to help. The essence of God is LOVE.

2. All of God's judgments are remedial, including hell fire. All people will eventually repent and submit to Christ of their own free will.

3. When we die, we're dead, and we'll stay dead until God raises us from death. No one goes immediately to heaven or hell after death.

4. Jesus was begotten as an act of the Father at the beginning of time. He is a second Divine Individual who bears the very stamp of the Father's nature.

5. Jesus and His Father can extend their Divine Personality anywhere in the Universe, and especially into the hearts and minds of the faithful. The Bible refers to that extension as "The Spirit of God" or "The Spirit of Jesus" or "The Holy Spirit".

6. The Great Tribulation is a future event, and Jesus will return immediately after it, and set up a millenial rule for 1000 years here on earth.

7. "Accepting Christ as your personal Saviour" or "Trusting in the finished work of Christ" are expressions not found in the Bible. Neither of these is the way to become a Christian. One must repent, be baptized, and submit to the authority of Christ in order to become a true Christian.

8. The purpose of Christ's death is not for the forgiveness of sins, but for our deliverance from actual sin in our lives.

9. We do not inherit actual sin from Adam and Eve, but rather the propensity for sin.

10. "Forgiving" someone, does not mean "letting go of ill feelings" toward that person, but restoring a relationship with that person, in such a way that it is just as if the person had not wronged us.
 
Just a few off the top of my head..


1- I believe that God is infinitely more merciful than man.

2- I believe He has expressed inexplicable perfection through His Son Jesus Christ.

3- I believe the holiness of God is a terror to man because our flesh cannot withstand such pristine purity. This is why Moses had to be hidden in the cleft so He could pass by.

4- I believe Jesus Christ died for all mankind yet only a few will heed His call on their lives.

5- There is no other name by which man can be saved except through Jesus Christ.

6- I believe man sends Himself to hell through rejection of Jesus Christ

7- I think that Hell is Hell because every attribute of God and His presence is totally missing from it.

8- There is nothing in this world that can take the place of Jesus Christ in a human beings life, though there are many crutches.

9- I don't believe we have ever grasped what Jesus went through in our behalf, nor can we grasp such a love as that.

10- We are living in the end times, and persecution will refine the people of God to ready them for the return of Jesus Christ.
 
1. I believe that seeking God is all that we NEED to do, and that all other needs truly will be met by Him.

2. I believe that serving others with God's love is the best way to spend our time here on this earth as believers.

3. I believe that we can only be fashioned into the image of Christ if we continously seek God's glory ONLY in all that we do...even the lowliest tasks.

4. I believe that a farm, which requires hard work, and has the best food from the gardens, orchards, and animals, is the most joyful place to raise children.

5. I believe that hot chocolate should ONLY be made with milk.

6. I believe that lambs are the sweetest, most gentle animals I have ever known.

7. I believe that the snow capped Mountains are the loveliest places to live, and visit, on this planet.

8. I believe in Jesus, I love Him, and I yearn to see Him more with each passing day.

9. I believe that marriage is a picture of Christ and the church, and that upholding that picture, as well as others, is an important light to a world that is soon forgetting the simplest of God's 'pictures' due to sin's corruption.

10. I believe that since I am still learning to truly fear God, that I am only just begining to have knowledge of spiritual things, and of Him.

1) I believe Jesus Christ is God, and one third of the Holy Trinity.

2) I believe that Islamic scripture is evil and is the biggest threat ever known to mankind.

3) I believe the official report on 9/11 and Islam's role within it.

4) I believe the biggest threat to America are the Americans themselves, a united America would have nothing to fear.

5) I believe political correctness is absurd and hypocritical and is often used effectively to further ones unjust agenda's

6) I believe all humans are equal (regardless of sex and race) and should be free to believe and do as they please, so long as they do not harm or negatively effect others around them and when the freedom of others is threatened then that threat should be dealt with and not ignored.

7) I believe that all people should stop donating money to animal charities and instead should concentrate their efforts on stopping sexual abuse against women and children. In the UK animal charities receive more in donations than all the human charities combined. Yes, an abused child sold into sexual slavery may not look as cute as a bunny or have a fluffy tail but is infinitely more deserving of our help than a dog. (btw I like animals, the reason why I became a vegetarian was that I cannot stand the thought of killing one to sustain my own life when there are alternatives)

8) I believe that all convicted paedophiles should receive a life sentence with no chance of parole (regardless of how serious their crimes were)

9) I believe that Mohammed and all who believe in the words of this murderous paedophile as revelations from God are burning in hell along with Hitler

10) I believe that as this is not a Christian world, women should be allowed to have an abortion if that is what they want but once a women has an abortion (thus having murdered an innocent unborn child) she should not be allowed to become pregnant again.
 
My top ten in no particular order of importance.

1. I believe that God loves me, and he loves you too.
2. I believe in the present reality of both heaven and hell on earth. It’s dangerous when both become purely a futuristic destination which depicts the afterlife.
3. As Christians, we are to hate what God hates, and love what God loves. BTW, God loves you.
4. We live the Christian life because it’s the best possible way to live.
5. I believe that to truly forgive another, is to truly wish the other well.
6. I believe that to forgive does not mean to forget. It’s simply perspective.
7. I do not believe in collective forgiveness. Forgiveness is between the transgressor and the victim. It’s a personal thing, not a political statement.
8. In this life, you will experience suffering.
9. Jesus really existed and was who he claimed to be, and did what is recorded in the Bible.
10. Next to God, I cherish my family the most. This extends to my family in Christ.

What do you make of what Jesus says about God saying he's the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and that implying that he's the God of the living not of the dead; and the appearance of Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration?

1. What is recorded in the Bible is God's true Word.
2. Jesus not only lives today, He is life.
3. Jesus not only knows God and His true Word, He is The Truth, He is God, and He is God's true Word.
4. Jesus knows me, Jesus knows you, and Jesus loves us.
5. He relentlessly pursues us with His offering of Life despite our rejection of Life and Him.
6. We went so far in our rejection of life that not only do we die, we literally ended THE LIFE when He walked among us.
7. But He went further in His love for us. Life conquered death.
8. We have a soul for the eternal but Life is more than existance.
9. When our life is with His, we live. Eternally.
10. Apart from Him, we perish. Eternally.
 
I believe God's Word from front to back, top to bottom, inside and out, all scriptures in black and white and red......It's absolute Truth.

1. God is really good at working all things together for the good of those who love Him.
2. It's going to get a lot harder from now on out.
3. Heaven isn't our final destination. A lot of misconceptions about life, souls, spirit, etc can be cleared up if we remember that God will create a new heaven AND a new earth.
4. The last 10,000 years or so of human history has basically been a restoration process.
5. Nod to another thread, yeah, I believe animals do have souls and God created them for eternal life as well as us.
6. All of us, animals included were created as vegetarians.
7. The church needs to remember what the role of the watchman was, and that we share that responsibility as well.
8. People, even well-meaning Christians, have a tough time really listening to others. Most of the time we just filter everything others say into what we agree with and what we don't agree with and tend to dismiss what we don't agree with. It's a bad habit, and we should all work harder at getting over it.
9. It's vital to remember exactly what the gospel is and what it isn't and to share what it is with as many folks as we possibly can.
10. If one isn't sure what the gospel is, Craig (Veritas) has put it in as concise a form as I've ever seen in his response to this thread.
 
Don't know if I'll reach 10 now... maybe five now and five later. :-D

I believe the powers and principalities of this world have NO everlasting effect on the true believer, no matter how much we debate about politics. Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world.

I believe only the God of Heaven can save souls; Jesus saves; Jesus is God.

I believe in love over gold.

I believe Sarah and John will win in the end. ;-) (Terminator reference) :-D

I believe correct doctrine is important in understanding the nature of God and HIS revelation(s) to Man. (not a salvific issue, IMO but with some doctrinal exceptions, meaning, I believe some doctrines to be essential to salvation)

I love the Lord. I believe HE loves us also.

I believe HE loved us first.

Like Einstein, I sometimes believe imagination is more important than knowledge.

I believe there are three sides to every story. 8-)

I believe that what Jesus did on the Cross for us is as important or maybe even paramount to who He was.
 
Okay here we go (but I have 11) :wink: !

1. I believe that annihilation is biblical and eternal torment is not

2. I believe that most of the Christian world thinks they are right so much of the time that they are blind to open minded scrutiny of long held beliefs.

3. I believe that JFK was assassinated by Carlos Marcello and other mob elements and the historical evidence proves that this is so

4. I believe that the North American entertainment media is shallow and so are half the population for even caring to wonder what kind of danish so-and-so the movie star is eating on a given day.

5. I believe that being a teacher is the nobleist profession and it is they, and not movie stars and athletes that should make millions of dollars.

6. I believe that saunas are a wonderful thing.

7. I believe that electing political leaders isn't about who is going to do the better job or who has better promises they will try (but fail) to keep, as much as it is about who is going to screw up the country less.

8. I believe that acappella choral music is the most reverent and emotionally effective praise to God.

9. I believe that cold pizza, cold chicken and morning after popcorn are much better than the heated/fresher versions.

10. I believe that the guitar is by far the best instrument in the world

11. I believe that O.J Simpson was 100% guilty of Nicole and her boyfriend's murders.

* I believe that racism is 100% WRONG and that God will punish those that continuously hate his creations.

* I believe in miracles

* I believe that Global Warming has happened in the past and is a normal process

* I believe that the public school system has fallen apart.

* I believe that I'm hungry and want seafood tonight.
