Topic: Power of Power

Highlights:

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Tim 1:7

One thing that surprise an angel is when a man is afraid after praying assuring God that he /she trusts God for his/ her safety. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:8). Power is stability in every good thing. When a person who knows God does not trust that he is powerful enough through the grace of Jesus Christ, Such person is not powerful. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38

There is a power of power. There are two power of a believer, one is having faith in God and the second is believing that your faith and service to God is so powerful that it cannot fail. Opening the Bible alone to read it out to any situation alone is powerful. Singing praises alone is so powerful that it can cause earthquakes and open prison gate.

Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26

There is a power and there is a power of power. Keeping quiet in the midst of turbulence knowing that all will be well because of your trust in God is power of power And believing in your own commands against all odds after saying it, believing it will manifest just like Jesus did in Matthew 9:22 is power of power.

Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

No wonder Jesus said: ...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(Matthew 28:18 KJV) and he said "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father." John 14:12

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Act 3:6.

You have to discover yourself and know that all you are doing with God is not child's play. That you are a child of God means you have rank in this world and you have a command. Pray for power of power and exercise it often to make your Christian life more gracious. though challenges will come but you will become strong and victorious through the power of power in Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Almighty Father please give me power of power in the Holy Ghost through the blood of Jesus Christ the King of Power in Jesus name. Amen.

I must testify that there has been a pivot in my faith and thinking concerning a lot of issues. I thought my prayers were okay, but never have I felt such power, love, and a sound mind as I am able to keep better silent in prayer instead of speaking out fears. Believing in prayers and that things are in God's hands has truly been bringing transformation in my life.

It has not been easy for anybody.

It has not been easy for anybody.

Anxiety has plagued my life since I was little. I just understand what it means to rest in God even in unrestful times. The spirit of power, love, and a sound mind is being spirit minded/walking in faith.

Ah, wonderful post. This is true of prayer. I also believe it is intended to first hear God, and then speak in agreement with what He says. This is what speaking in tongues was intended to do. The Spirit immediately begins speaking to God about what He knows is most important to the believer's life, yet in line with His will for that person. And if "we know we have the things we ask because we ask those things that are pleasing in His sight," then the Holy Spirit prays such prayers consistently; not prayers of fear or defeat, but of power, wisdom and revelation.
