What Jesus is enabling us to do. (Praise the Lord!!!!!)

I have been Christian for 7 years. Since then He gave me a biggest blessings of my 3 children (out of 4) Christians. They had chance to follow their popular Christian father. But they chose to follow obedient Christian mother instead. They are still baby Christians (sort of), but they are determined to be sincere obedient Christians and they are progressing rapidly. They are making my job as a mother very easy. My son is 18 and my daughter is 15. And another one is 27 who repented from disobedient one with the 5 year old son who are living with me. Because they are commited Christians, we hardly have secular problems. They are appreciating more and more about obedience to the Lord.
Thank you Jesus for happy one big family!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a house cleaner and separated from my husband with GED education, Yet Jesus is enabling me to support persecuted brethren $500.00 a month. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is giving me a heart of evangelism so I have been evangelizing since I became Christian 7 years ago. He is even enabling me to go to my own native land (Okinawa) every once in a while to reach the lost souls. (most of them are not Christians.)
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is enabling us to study the Bible everyday and obey.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is enabling us to be kind to everyone all around us.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is enabling us to devote to Him everyday.
Prise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is teaching us to live humbly so we don't have to complain when we don't have what we want so we don't need money as much as most.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is giving us compassion for persecuted Christians who are almost abondoned by wealthy Christians.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is giving us confidence that we can handle anything with His help.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is making us feel we are the richest Christians in the world.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is giving us hearts of obedience so that we can encourage everyone to be obedience instead of saying that obedience is legalism, for your glory because we know that disobedience is the cause of all kinds of evil deeds.

I can go on forever! Thank you Jesus for so many blessings you are giving us each day. No one can take away this joy from us! Thank you for teaching us to be obedient to Your teachngs and commands.!!!!!!

Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lyric's Dad said:
I see nothing of gratitude for the other child.

I'm sure she aches for that lost child does as God aches when he sees so many people mock Him and defy Him because they think they know better than God what the truth is. But no one can jump inside the heart of anyone and change it but God. And he will do that only if that person wants him to. It's very hard to raise a child who rejects any kind of love his parents or God offers him. We can only lead a horse to water but we can't make him drink. :crying:

Heide, would you elaborate on what you are talking about? Why are you being so mystical? Are you rejoicing about Him with me or do you find something against praising the Lord? Because you did not say anything about my question I am guesing that you are being sarcastic about my praising the Lord. How sad. We cannot even praise Him without being sarcastic.

I would like to add that Jesus is giving me so much confidence, peace and joy that I can never repay no matter how much I do, even though I am not so talented, cannot speak eloquent English like everyone else, I'm not so smart like most of the people, and I am goofier than most people.

If Jesus can make me so much joyful following Him, how much can He make powerful the rest of the Christians?

I just reread my own testimony and realized what Relics Dad and Heid are talking about. (Sorry, I am very slow when it comes to indirect kind of talk).

My other son thinks he is Christian because he attended and attends church. Of course I talk to him about the importance of being true to Him with our actions. But he does not want to follow all of His teachings. He does not want to give up his worldly desires. Am I responsible for him? Should I praise for him with this kind of ungrateful attitude of Christianity? He is always welcome in our house when he is right with the Lord. Jesus tells us to have nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness. Should I disrespect His teaching because I don't want to hurt his feelings? Jesus tells us that if we love our family more than Him we are not worthy to be His disciples.

My son married a Catholic woman last year (he had been Lutheran all of his life and he is 25 years old). I did not give him blessing or give approval of his marriage because the Bible tells us not to yoke with non-believers (not to mean offense to Catholics, but the woman happened to be a non-believer and a Catholic in this sutuation) I was more concerned about their harlf hearted Christianity. I told them that we should be commited Christians before we get married, but they never listened. I did not attend their marriage ceremony. The Catholic pastor gave them permission for their marriage without knowing their Christianity. I am not criticizing the Catholics because this kind of practice is in Protestant churches too.

Not even before one year of their marriage, his wife committed adultery. My son came for advice because he became depressed.. I told him without being committed to Him, a happy marriage is impossible. He still does not pay attention to what I am saying.

Should I make excuses for him? If I do, I will be lying to the Lord. I understand that talking about disobidience is not politically or religeiously correct. But I want to please the Lord and not the majority of people or their practice.
