The Lord heard me from my dark place...Halleluja!

My husband has been unemployed for almost 1 1/2 yrs as a construction foreman.

Now his big brother said "fine" to him staying at his townhouse downstate, where there are jobs for my husband (2 of his former companies are hiring!)

His brother is going to help us! He said, "we're not going to let you lose your house."

What a ray of light! Things are looking up, up up! He hasn't been out of work like this ever & we have been married 25 yrs.

Thank you Lord for hearing my prayers & showing me Your salvation!:praying

I’m so happy for you. Maybe because I can relate?

Praise the almightly God!!!

Update.....

Husband surprisingly showed up. He got a really good job! So much so that I don't have to worry about not being able to work for for a few months.(till my daughter can buy & insure her own car to get to her work)

Praise the Lord! I just pretty much exhausted my IRA that was supposed to be for retirement, to pay our income taxes! But I'm feeling stronger every day (I have low platelet condition) & I will get $ again!

Praise the Lord for His abundance! (3John2) :-)

I have a couple of friends whose husbands were out of work like yours and God provided for them too just in the nick of time. It sounds like you've been a supportive wife. Please don't feel obligated to answer this question, but my mom has a low platelet count and nobody has been able to figure out why. Has your doc been able to figure it out? Anyway, I will pray for continued employment for your hubby and good health for you.

Kind regards,

Jen

Thank God for a perfect platelet count, daily....no matter what you see in the natural. An elder at our church had a daughter with low platelets...they told their daughter to thank Jesus for the perfect amount of platelets...daily. After a few months, the doctors couldn't figure out why her body was working perfectly and why the platelets were in perfect order.

Thank you Caroline & Jen for your support & prayers!

Sorry Jen that your mom doesn't have a normal platelet count. My platelet dysfunction or slight thrombocytopenia seems to be part of a broader condition called fibromyalgia. Mine is not serious (usually 120-150,000 where the norm should be 150,000-400,000) I do bruise very easily though, so don't anyone dare pinch me!

Jen, as an RN I know that thrombocytopenia can have an unknown etiology(cause). It can be also an autoimmune response or from viral infections. A hematologist should be consulted only when one's general medical doctor deems a specialist necessary. I have infused patients with units of thrombocytes in the past, depending on what is ordered for them, but usually the platelet count is dangerously low (& at risk for hemorrhage) & have seen their lab work with a platelet count as low as 20,000 or less. Most are medically managed.

Caroline, that was quite edifying! The Lord is able to heal us! I'm not sure why some do not get healed- some say it's according to one's faith & I think it is also part of God's plan for that person's life. Either way, all things work out for good for those that love Him.(Romans 8:28) But yes, I believe, I receive, my healing! Praise God!

And I actually dreamed last night. That hasn't happened for a yr. & a half.

All good signs. All on a "Good Friday" too- wow!
