[__ Prayer __] Pray for Tucson

I am the only one in my family to be born in Tucson. Everyone else was born in Ohio or Indiana.
My Dad and brother live in Tucson, and I in Ohio.

I am still a native of Tucson, the troubles they have I feel. So this shooting has affected me. I feel like I did on 9-11. My Country was attacked, this time my hometown was attacked.

My Dad called last night, this really hit home with him. He has spoken with the Congress woman, he was really impressed with her. So much so, he voted for her, a Democrat when he is a firm Conservative.

The City is suffering, they had a political assasination attempt, and had several people killed in the attempt. People getting killed isn't new, Tucson is a fairly big city. Gangs, drugs and poverty keep the death toll going. But these were innocent people, no where near the traditional crime areas, in broad daylight.

I ask for prayers for all the people with ties to Arizona, like me. For prayers for Tucson and the citizens as they deal with this and the national attention.
I ask prayers for the families and loved ones of the dead and prayers for the injured to recover, and their families to cope with the problems this will bring.

I also pray that the town faces the westboro baptist (anti-)church with dignity and non-violence, if they do show up at the 9yr olds funeral.
