Prayer Carpet

I got a Prayer Carpet in the mail yesterday!! Whoo Hoo!! It was a picture of somebody that must have represented Jesus with his eyes closed.
Anywhoo, I was supposed to stare at this picture until "Jesus" opens his eyes and looks at me. Then I was supposed to go to a quiet room and kneel on the picture (with my knees on the paper carpet) and pray for money, riches, wealth or even healing!
To end it all, I only had last night to do this, so now the offer is expired because I was supposed to send the carpet with my prayer request back to the church in Texas so they could validate my prayers...
Do you think if I wrote them, they would send me another carpet and another chance??

No, I'd never request a second chance because I was never serious on the first one they gave me (other than to maybe get them to send more material, which is more cost, which is less material they'd have and less money they would have to send this junk to other people. But that would be dishonest huh? :wink:

Yeah, it' is a big DUH!

But the scary part is the thousands of people that will actually stare at it and see the picture open it's eyes (it's an adroit illusion that you can see if you look closely at the eyes) and they will believe that the picture came alive! And they will get on their knees and fervently pray to this idol!

Until you checkbook ran dry, they would.. :-D Why not just buy one of those black velvet rugs that have the dogs playing poker,,,you kow the ones you find at gas stations, right next to the Velvet Elvis.... they'll work just as well. I've heard people actually hear Elvis when they hang that one on their wall. The dogs playing poker can actually bring money right to your door...It did to mine. "I'll give you five dollars if you will get that thing out of my sight".......

StoveBolts, you forgot the most important part.

You need to send in a lot of money when you send the prayer requests back. :roll: And if you don't have enough "faith" you won't be healed or receive blessings. double > :roll:

Actually, they never ask for money!! But they do give testimonies about people that get $50,000 after they use the carpet, and this guy got a new car and that guy was healed of this...

Tell you what, it's a pretty high quality print! it's got to be a foot by a foot and a half and they use pretty good paper. (suppose it would have to be if they want you to kneel on it while you pray :wink: ) I'm sure that some people would actually frame it and hang it in their front room! :o
