[__ Prayer __] Prayer for assistance...

Amielou

Member
Please pray for my family today, as i go for the first time to visit salvation army and see if they can provide us with some assistance with food and baby needs as we have no more money left to shop with.

Please pray that the documentation i have is sufficient and that they will be willing, ready and able to provide us with the financial support we need.

Thanks in advance.

You and your family are in my prayers.

Matthew 6:31-32 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat ‘ or ‘What will we drink ‘ or ‘What will we wear for clothing ‘ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

You are in my prayers and I believe that God will provide for the needs of your family. It is important at times like these to keep your family together so I will also pray that God will do this to. God Bless you

Amielou, I am agreeing with you and your family for your support. You WILL be provided for. God has not left us helpless. I love this verse-

Heb 13:5-6- He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not,[I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ( relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? [Ps 27:1; 118:6.] Amplified Bible

Speak the Word over your situation. It's the Word that will work in your lives to bring about God's promises. His Word will not return void; He creates the fruit of the lips. The Word is the sword of the Spirit, our only offensive weapon. It needs to come out your mouth to work, though. Get the Word in your mouth. Here are a couple more-

2 Cor 9:8- And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. AMP

2 Cor 8:9- For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. KJV

Phil 4:19- And my God will liberally supply ( fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. AMP

Speak the Word over your house every day- it helps to personalize the scriptures- and take communion. God has made covenant with you and your family. He is your provider, and He is faithful and can be depended on. The more you speak the Word, the more your faith will rise. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The Word works!

Thank You, Father, for meeting this family's needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' Name, amen.

well, i went... and they talked to me, and they were really nice, but there isn't much they could do... they are overrun with needs to care for right now and haven't got the rescources to share around.

i was given $50 of shopping vouchers for food - this will do one weeks worth if that - and told i could come back in three months, but not before... so now to try to find other aid agencies that may be able help :sad

:pray thank you for your prayers :pray

The good Lord knows all about these matters.. :amen

Matthew 6: 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

OKAY UPDATE!!

I got a call today from a lady who may be interested in employing me to coordinate their after school care program, if i get this job it will help us immensly. It will not be easy with two babies to manage as well, but it will pay and it will feed us, please pray that i get this job and that it works smoothly for me and my family and doesn't become a strain on the family especially my children - being dragged all over the place every afternoon, and that we will all settle comfortably and happily into a good stable healthy routine that works for everyone ans still allows me to earn money for us.

Although the ideal work would be home childcare so my babies could rest in their own beds, this would do at least in the interim... but please pray that SOMETHING that pays well and works for me, hubby and the bubbies comes up and is finalised VERY VERY soon.
