I'm asking for prayers of protection for my daughter and her brother.

We adopted our daughter from the foster care system and although we truly wanted to adopt all three kids, her brother and sister were adopted into different homes. The adoption was sealed and the birth family was to never be able to find out who adopted the children and where they lived.

Well, through a very strange set of events, the children's biological uncle and first cousin wound up sitting in the living room of my daughter's brother's house. This man is the brother of the kid's bio father. The bio father is a very bad man! Unfortunately, in this same strange course of event's, the bio cousin got ahold of our name, street address and telephone number. So, our daughter's safety is compromised as well.

We were able to change our street address (didn't know that was possible, but we were able to do it), and our phone number. We have also alerted our neighbors to not answer any questions about us, and we've alerted the schools and the sheriff. That's about all we can do in our own strength.

Fortunately, we don't have to rely on our own, woefully inadequate strength. I know that when God's people unite in love and prayer, the forces of darkness cannot prevail, so I'm asking all my brothers and sisters in the Lord to pray for God to place a hedge of protection around our children and set his angel's to watch over them.

You keep hanging in there handy, God is on your side. Luv ya

My goodness, Handy! I know that must be worrisome :o I pray in agreement with you over the protection of your family, and also for peace to come upon you all so that you don't live with constant worry.

Handy, prayers for your daughter and her brother this morning. I know God will take care of it. The Lord bless you, and your family.

Oh I'm saddened to hear this. :( God is on your side though. :amen Keep praying for protection and guidance. If God brings you to it, He will get you through it. :)

Thank you all for your prayers. We've done what we can practically do. God is in control and we are a peace with the situation. Phillipians 4:7 has really been at work in our hearts.
