[__ Prayer __] Prayer for Strength

Hello brothers and sisters,

As some of you know, my wife left me a few weeks ago and now resides on the other side of the country. We speak through text and email everyday, but she is not intent on coming back anytime soon, if ever.

It hurts so much. I am enduring, but I would humbly ask for your prayers of strength and restoration, for I need them daily.

Help me to give it all to God, who is faithful, and endure this pain that God might show his glory through this tremendous trial.

Thank you, all who read.

Dear Father, I come asking You for great mercy and grace for this brother in Christ concerning his marriage. Support him in spirit as he walks in this trial of his faith, and give him the faith that You are with him in this fire. I do not know the end from the beginning, but You do, and You have told us that all things, not just some work together for the good of us which love You. Please sustain Rick with the peace of Your presence in everything pertaining to what You are doing in him at this time, and I give You all praise in Jesus' name. Amen. Thank You Father.

Bro Rick, truly now I know why I said what I said just now in my response in our conversation. (Sorry to anyone else that this doesnt make sense)

This is not a time for a Biblical lesson. I will tell you straightforward. God loves you. What He loves He wants to have a closer relationship so we go through these things. Simply put, this to shall pass.

Heavenly Father who art in heaven. God, You are our everything. What words could we use that would accurately show how magnificent You are! God we praise Your holy name. We give thanks for all things, yes Lord the good as well as the bad. God look upon Bro Rick. This is Your child and our brother. We come to You declaring Your Word, for we do not have a high priest that was not touched by all infirmities. We ask You to send forth Your ministering angels just as You did when Your Son was praying before He endured the Cross. God touch his heart. Lift him up. Carry him. Leave him not alone. Let Your light shine round about him even in the darkest of night. We rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus. The enemy is subject to thee O Father and we cannot do anything of ourselves save Your authority granted us for such times as this. Listen to our prayer O God and protect him. For You are our strong tower, a shelter from the storm. Build him God, build him up. Restore that which needs be. Heavenly Father to You be all the glory forever and ever. We give You all the thanks even now. We ask all things in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hold fastly to His hand. Always know you are never alone my brother. We all love you and will continue to pray your strength in the Lord.

Hi Rick

You are in my thoughts, I can somehow relate to the way you feeling. It's definitely not easy. I have not always known what to do or say but as long as you tried your best to make things work, that's all what matters and should give you comfort. There is only so much you can do.
I try to tell myself that when things like this happen, we just cannot let it define us. We need to get up and fight! Yes, it's easier said than done but ask God for strength and to keep praying. I tend to read inspirational testimonials to give me strength.
As unbearable at it might seem, just remember that God will not give you something you can't handle. Hang in there, it can only get better.

Thank you Eugene, Rob, and Jack. I definitely have my hills and valleys with this ordeal. God is giving me just enough to handle and before I know it, I am seeing just how much I can actually bear. I am getting stronger, even though the valleys may be deep at times.

I am being told to wait on the Lord, so that is what I will do. I've always hated waiting, for anything. Now I wait in one of the biggest ways possible. One of my greatest weaknesses being exercised in one of my greatest trials. God is good. He knows what works for each of us.

Certainly all of your prayers have given me strength. Thank you all!
