Things seem to be going well, I was told he is just tired after chemo.

Is he taking a solid regime of vitamins to help off-set the affects of chemo?

(I've been told that adding asparagus into the diet on a regular basis helps the fight against cancer )

I'm not sure about vitamins, but will find out.

I didn't know about asparagus, that's interesting. I will let them know.

As with everything, eating a balanced diet is always a sound way of dining. And buying fresh veggies, locally grown, is definitely a plus!

I love homegrown veggies!
Something that was (and still is) strange to me was when a friend of mine had cancer they took her off of all fresh veggies, none raw or steamed. I never found out the reason for it.

It's possible that the particular cancer your friend had could be influenced by raw or steamed veggies. So much is being learned about cancers - what feeds certain strains, what kills certain strains.

That is true, it is much different that even a few years ago.
I was impressed when they started the targeted chemo (not sure that's what it is called) where only areas are treated instead of the entire body having to endure the treatment.

There has been so much progress in identification and treatment where illnesses/cancers are concerned, but further work is needed because of all the different varieties of illnesses/cancers.

David has gone through treatment, and today has been deemed CANCER FREE!!!
