...Thanks for following these threads, everyone.
OK. Many of you were kind enough to pray my friend, Verna. So the kidney problems seem secondary to that new once yearly anti-bone loss infusion. Nice, huh? So, apparently, they have to treat everything that went wrong and also keep tabs for the next year. No word yet on the latest labs. Her grand daughter with the stroke is doing OK and seems to be progressing fairly well. She's doing 3D puzzles as part of her recovery (I find that fascinating).
Also, my aunt, with the wayward teen (not her child) and the health problems...
...her health problems remain, but the teen is now in some kind of charter school and her behavior is improving. She's making forward progress and (re)connecting with the rest of the family
As for me...
...neighbors still talk about "federal prison" sometimes. I don't get it. I looked it up and federal warrants are sealed until executed (scary), but they usually notify people of indictments and/or arrest warrants. Also, I have a good attorney (thanks, mom and dad!) who handled the misdemeanor state level case. I was in court almost 8 months ago for that, so I don't think they would have let me go home if there had been any outstanding warrants.
Also, I have mental issues. Call it severe Bipolar I, call it schizophrenia, its there and its something I manage daily. Prayer, grace, meds, Orthomolecular (I believe the vitamins help the meds work better)...its a bit of a struggle. Nobody likes me around here, so I think they may just be "picking on the weakling" (direct quote from a dude in my neighborhood), so...wow. Fun.
Still, the intensity has waned. I can go outside and people don't speak up loud enough for me to hear them, deliberately. A neighbor waved at me. I'm still free
