I have been sick for over a year with many random different symptoms too many things to name including a nodule on my thyroid and many digestive problems going on ,i also know I have major depressive disorder and ptsd and no way to get treated as i do not have insurance and dont make much money.I have prayed and prayed i dont know what else to do ,i dont even know what to say to pray but please pray for me.Thank you God bless you all.
 
You're definitely in my prayers, Hallowbonnie. And you're doing the right thing by praying about your situation. Our Lord does hear our prayers, and He never abandons us. He answers in His time, according to His will.

Remain with the reading/studying of scripture as well. After prayers, why not read one of the more uplifting Psalms, one of your favorites, and give thanks & praise to our Lord for all His blessings.

To help counter depression, focus on one beautiful gift from our Father, whether it's the amazing sunrise or sunset, the delicacy of a rosebud in the process of opening ... a joyful event in your life. And give thanks & praise to our Lord for this special blessing shared with you.

Please keep us updated on how you're doing, my friend. Bless you!
 
I have not applied for medicare,the last time i went to a dr for almost a year ago when i had insurance they drew blood and checked thyroid levels and said they were normal and tested me for all sorts of autoimmune diseases and said those blood tests came back normal.Since then my hours got cut at work and i had to lose my insurance and couldnt afford to buy more i do good just to take care of myself.I am trying hard to get a second job.People dont seem to want to work with my first job schedule.My best friend sent me money a couple months back and i tried again to get insurance but they said they wouldnt accept my application for insurance because of my preexisting conditions of major depressive disorder and ptsd.So my best plan so far seems to be to hold onto the money until 2014 when obamacare goes through and then noone can deny me insurance .Thank you both for the prayers God bless you both.
 
Dear Sister hollowbonnie, I sure will be praying for your soon deliverance and healing of the things you are suffering through. You have gone to God in prayer with them and He is not slack in giving you the grace to meet your need. God never leaves or fails us, and though we can seemingly be in the fire as it were in trials of our faith as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were, He was in the fire with them and not even the smell of smoke was on them.

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter 4:12 "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you."

Be not troubled for it is God working in you for your good: easier said than done huh? Of course but the building of our faith is where God leads us, and we are His work in progress. Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Be blessed in the precious name of our Savior Jesus. :yes
 
Hallowbonnie, I don't mean to pry but when my wife was in her twenties she had your symptoms. Thyroid nodules, depression, digestive issues, PCOS, borderline diabetes, to name a few. Her Graves disease(autoimmune disorder) was misdiagnosed as depression. We will keep you in our prayers! Blessings.
 
Yeah thats sort of what i think is going on but i had my blood drawn twice and they told me my levels were normal but something has to be off for me to have a 9mm nodule on my thyroid .
 
Hello Hallowbonnie. I sort of know how you feel. I have a medical issue which they can find no reason for, tested and tested, but no reasons found. I also know what its like not having the money for the best treatment. I was getting tested at a top hospital, where my doc sent me, when my blood pressure crashed during the test and I nearly passed out. They asked me if I had top cover, I said no, they then put me in a wheel chair and pushed me out of that hospital and over the road to the public one and left me there in the waiting room. They did talk to the nurse on reception of course and inform her of my condition. But boy did that shock me with their response! Money before the patient.
Will pray and hope for you to get well.
 
This thread is beginning to sound like a story I once heard that went somewhat like this.

Man goes to his doctor, gets tests, waits for results, and receives a diagnosis of impending death. His doctor tells him all we can do now is pray. My God the patient exclaims; has it come to that? :chokedup

The good thing is, where man fails, God prevails. hallowbonnie What are you believing on here? Seems your faith is focused on having some disease and waiting on Obamacare. Trusting in the arm of man brings a snare.

here is one scripture out of many that I have used time and time again. Seems like your having Trust issue with the Lord you gave your life to and depend on eternal security for.

Psa 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

The Lord will perfect what? His mercy endures for how long? He does not forsake the "What" of his own hands?

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Who is we?

What is greater, The Word, or symptoms?

Can God get you the money for the doctor?
Can God get the right Doctor that can hear Him for you?
Can God make you stronger and better each day?

What are you praying on? What scripture you believe? He sent his word to heal us, and deliver us. You just praying to be praying? Grab something God said, and hang on to it. He has never lied, not one time.

Good post brother. Psalms 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Thank you and i know your right I geuss it just took me a moment to get myself together,ive been so full of fear ,not feeling so fearful today feeling more clarity and what our pastor talked about today really hit the nail on the head for me.Im sorry for being so spastic i certainly dont enjoy it lol peace and rest are much nicer.
 
Praying for you.

Just a thought, Lyme diease can cause a host of symptoms which mimics many dieases, I got Lyme 5 years ago, now there's pretty much not a day goes by without something bothering me (joints,muscles,eyes,elevated ana, elevated liver) symptoms comes and goes, right know I have right abdominal discomfort coming and going for about a 1 1/2 months, just recently my armpits were hurting.

Trust in Jesus he took the stripes for your healing and He knows what the problem is.
