I had been laid off for a year after working for 16 years with the same company. We were bought out by a larger firm that eventually decided they did not need us anymore so they closed the doors to our San Antonio location. I was living off unemployment while I was looking for work. At 43, it was pretty difficult finding a job. Search after search that lead to week after week of bills piling up. I prayed that the right job would come along. One day, I remember asking God to find me a job where He would have a hand in it. About a week later I found a listing of a man that was starting a christian design line and needed a graphic artist. Not only did I find a job that has God's hand in it, it is a job that has God's message in it as well. I guess one can say I am actually working for God, the guy that posted the ad is just a vessel God used to get me job. The job pays more that what I was earning at the old company. The power of prayer is strong. We just have to learn that prayers are answered in God's time, not ours...
